The whole 2008/2009 legacy tournaments results were used to qualify 64 players. Then some qualifying slots were reserved to the winners and finalists of some big scale events. In the end, 80 players got qualified and 64 of them actually attended the tournament. Unfortunately, I did 1-1-2 drop with Ugr counterbalance thresh (not tempo), winning to life combo and losing to a Ugb fish, a Bant Loam and drawing against Landstill.Quote:

The day before the final, the 3 last qualifying slots were distributed (1 + 1 for every 50 people). As for myself, I did 9th at this event with a Gbw Loam list very close the Bant Loam's, merely by only replacing stifle with confidant and intuition with entomb. In the SB, I had engineered plague, and the tribal MU was my main motivation for chosing black over blue. I did 5-1-1 (as the 8th and as the 10th did 5-0-2, I can ensure you I was pissed off). I've won 1 Ugr tempo thresh, 1 enchantress, 1 Merfolk, 1 Eva Green and 1 Dreadstill, I did draw against Sliver (I missed 1 turn for me to finish him off) and lost to the mirror against Bant Loam piloted by Cyril Mahé.Quote:
