IMHO probably not post worthy yet, but I think that about most posts on this thread. That being said its a good start, FBB's are gonna be really tough for TA since underground sea is the priciest one. I would probably at least get Deltas soon since I think they're pretty low ATM. The toughest pill for me to swallow in my deck was the goyfs, save those for last since they'll most assuredly get reprinted infinitely.

After a year and a half of searching, I finally found a pair of these to complete my S-Chinese foil Elves deck!

Not really pimp in terms of monetary value but rather pimp due to scarcity

I paid $80 for a Pyroclasm because it was Japanese Portal 1. Shit's impossible to find.

Well usually if you are looking for something REALLY hard to find you have to pay a lot.

Still im not that sure im ok to consider a garbage foil kor M10 card that you will never find because no one will ever try to sell it over a playset of summer volcanics, that you can find for 80k if you know where to look.

So, I wasn't going to post until a bit later on today, but my mail just came and in said mail was a fake Dark Confidant. "Hue" of the border off. Name darker. Creature type smaller. Kerning of the textbox off.

This was bought on eBay from a seller with 0 rep. Risky, but hey it was a fairly priced Dark Confidant. And my question now is... what do? Part of me wants to keep it, another part wants my money back, and a verrry itty bitty part of me wants to do the right thing.

I'll try to get scans (plus comparison) tomorrow when I go into work and have access to a scanner.

Edit: Art is generally "off", too. Kinda smudgy to the point where you can't even notice there's the signature of the artist in the bottom left corner.

Bob was not in the first and second print run of mainland China through Singapore counterfeits. Is this a third batch? Or just some homemade fake? Need to be one step ahead all the time.

uhh, just report it as a fake, if it just happened they haven't released the money to the seller yet and you can get it back within a week or two. Open a case. They MIGHT have you send it back but they may not. I've kept fakes that got sent to me through ebay before it just depends on a case by case basis. Sounds like u'd probably get to keep it.

I'm not linking all 21 pictures in the album since, as I said, I half-assed it, and it'll clock the thread. Nothing too fancy, just 63/67 foiled (4 Bazaar and 4 Undiscovered Paradise aren't foilable). One of the Paradises are Dark printing.

Huh? Bobs have been counterfeited for like a year, the first ones were really shit (2/2 instead of 2/1 ect) but I don't know about new ones. From what I have heard the new ones are really close aside from black core. It really is only a matter of time, I wouldn't even be surprised if lots of people playing eternal formats used counterfeits.

Also, something worth noting is that the seller apparently lives in the same state as me. Google says about 1hr 30min. The name appears to be fake (at least no one knows a John [REDACTED] based out of Massachusetts/Rhode Island), but if the address is real I can swing over and knock on his door. I know that sounds creepy, but I'm just throwin' the facts out there.
