I appreciate the support, I knew I was going to be in for some razzing when I posted it. My playgroup gives me shit all the time for finding promos more impressive than pack foils. This deck is pretty much trolling actual pimp decks. I prefer Italian as my foreign language cards and promos for the foils, I do live in Colorado and the FTV curling doesn't seem to be an issue here (yes dry air is good for something!)Quote:

Was there ever a consensus reached as to which Force of Will will end up being more pimp? I'm finishing up foiling out my Shardless deck and I cant decide which ones to get. Judge foils are technically the "OG" printing (at least for foil) and have a better border and no ugly holo stamp, but EMA FoW has objectively better art (I'm agnostic on on the giant text box star on the judge foils but I know a lot of people here despise that). EMA would also lead to more set consistency in Shardless assuming Baleful Strix and Shardless Agent are in the set.

The EMA art for FoW, while nice, seems too generic. Just like the art for the Judge FoWs—generic counterspell art. That said, Judge FoWs still classify as the top-most-tier of FoW pimpage because they are a pretty foil. Right I agree. I mean, it's not like the dude couldn't afford regular CoTs nor is it possible to tell the foils from non-foil since they're the same size and feel anyway (provided much of the rest of the deck is foil).
