[DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks

Okay, so it's like this: They were printing Traditional AND Simplified Chinese up until the release of Fifth Dawn. Traditional had the blocky font and simplified was the pretty font we Europeans/Americans think Chinese looks like (most of us).

When Fifth dawn was released, they stopped printing (the blocky) TRADITIONAL Chinese and changed the font of the simplified Chinese to an ugly one.

When M11 was released, they started printing Traditional Chinese again, but the simplified font is still ugly.

I had to order full edh decks just to get japanese Scavenging Oozes since they seem to be out of stock mostly everywhere.
The project is full asian maverick. I noticed that for lots of the staples the prices for jap foil and chinese foil are equal. Moreover, some chinese foil cards are harder to find than jap foil, because they are less popular, especially s-chinese versions. So my criteria for this deck:
4ed/Visions korean >> onslaught/odyssey style s-chinese (also 7th ed. and 8th, mirrodin) > other korean > japanese/chinese
Foil if possible, but I have to suspend buying the s-chinese foil fetches for a year, I think. Also lands that were not printed in asian language should be signed and or altered. As an exception I value the cards that were signed and presented by friends for me.
The cards that already fit in the project (I prefer shaman-elesh norn version and vial version):

And somewhere there are my 3 jap wastelands and 1 korean. StPs should be upgraded to 4th ed korean. Most of the other maverick cards at the moment are regular/european foil or non-foil asian, so I don't show them here.

I think I need about a year to finish this deck as I want it to be concidering the s-chinese fetches. :cool:

Does anyone out there know of a way I can find cards from Hachette Encyclopedia? I know the cards exist, but I can't find any leads online and I'm starting to wonder if I'd have to actually be in France in order to have shot at locating any.

Are those the cards from Salvat? According to Google images, they are anyway. Those are easily found on Magiccardmarket. Try https://www.magiccardmarket.eu/?main...archFor=salvat

I FINALLY (nearly a month) got my largest Ebay-Haul in quite some time.

The sigs on the Alpha cards are insanely difficult to find...

Yes, I do have a signed Sorin by Kormarck. A friend found at some obscure convention and only had this card with him...

About the Wastelands...I know one person (former comic collector) who has some and I intend buy his signed card collection...It might take some more weeks but when I get it done I will surely show them around here...

-double signed beta forests
-alpha and beta islands altered by mark poole, the detail is amazing

i also received a "signed" wasteland, but i highly doubt the signature is genuine, i cannot recognize anything in the signature that would say "fricker" ... i think i was scammed, but it was pretty cheap. i need to do some research to check for the signature, but at this point it makes no sense upping a photo...

Upload it anyway - there should be people here that can tell you whether it's a real signature or not.

Some recent acquisitions:
Finally pieced together a set of foil Standstills, signed minty Unlimited Sinkhole, no one will ever guess what I had to pay for it, and lastly a signed minty Merchant Scroll which was very hard to find.:laugh:
