Hey guys, looking for some advice.
I have a nearly full non-foil japanese UR Delver deck - which I also play in vintage with small tweaks.
The only non-japanese cards are revised duals, beta basics and alliance Force of Will.
I am a bit on the fence regarding the Forces.
Would you switch the Forces for japanese EMA ones, favoring consistency over old borders & art ?
I know altering would be an option, but I'd like to keep my cards unaltered.
Do what I did and get them altered. The old art is leagues better anyway.Quote:

I hope the mix of foilings (pack v. Judge v. PDS v. FTV v. Masterpiece) doesn't get you in trouble; for example, you can even see how different the PDS is from the others. I imagine it'd feel a lot different, too.
After a USPS scare I finally got the last FBB I needed. Those of you with prejudice in your black hearts for expeditions may wish to avert your eyes. The only thing I'd change is I need Lorwyn Thoughtseizes, but I'm trying to get into vintage right now so Theros will have to do for now.

This is a work in progress for me, downsizing my collection while foiling my current pet deck, still need some FBB's, judge nobles, FNM StoP, a few upgrades, hope to finish this day 1 in Vegas, can't decide if I want to downgrade the JPN foil crop rotation into English, or what, but still a lot of progress to make.

The Metalworker playmat is also super sweet.

After the legacy playmat was a miss ( really blurry life from the loam image :/) I was really happy to see that the metalworker playmat came out supersweet :)

Try Warmth instead. Doesn't help against Goblin Guide or Swiftspear, but 2 mana instead of 4 can be relevant against Burn.Quote:

Not really anything too fancy there as I like to keep it simple and clean, but I wanted to share this deck here as I take this pile of old school beauty for a last spin tonight.
I'm downgrading my Beta duals to those fugly German FBBs to pay for my wedding next year, so I'm 0% regretting having to do this, but it's still the most aesthetic deck I'll ever have built imho so it's still gonna hurt inside :smile:

Sure strictly speaking noone ever "has" to do anything ever, cosmically speaking. Except more or less obey the law of physics by default.
Generally people understand what's meant by such expressions though.
So phrased otherwise: IF i want to get married and have even a small size party /relatively cheap, for some family and friends (which I both do), I have to sell my Betas to be able to pay that. As I will be unable to find another source of income being disabled = unable to just 'get a job'.
