Considering the size of most of these dual land tournaments, isn't giving a two round bye to a 6 round event a bit excessive?

/agreed. That makes it even easier than day2'ing a GP. Two-round bye + win the next two rounds = auto top8. A one-round bye seems a bit better for the sake of the tournament.

Well it's gonna be a seven round event because we are gonna get that many people, so it won't matter.

As someone who didn't make day 2 of a GP, this is harder than it sounds.

Dude, I beat MWC. With goblins. I won game one with humility in play after you hardcast renewed faith three goddamn times. Not to mention all the freaking Silver Knights I had to deal with all day. Are you honestly trying to tell me I didn't deserve those three byes?

So at round 5, there was an Elves deck at 4-1. Funny thing is, round 6, there was an Elves deck at 5-1, and Eddinger sat at the 4-2 table stewing. Not that I can really talk - Angel Stax got pwnt by Elves, too.

Ironically I was playing Wombat and drew with elves in one of the later rounds also, I believe in the x-1 bracket. But still, you suck for stealing my byes.
