That 2/2 guy is legendary. Others search for basic, all of them put them tapped and they got Squire's p/t for double colored mana. I don't think they're too powerful, but if they're op, then simply colorshift them into blue, give them flying or pro:you and they should be fine.Quote:

Is this card ridiculous? Yes, but so are Brainstorm and company. Could cost :2: and be uncounterable instead to be more balanced, but you get the point.

Notes: There hasn't been any real power-creep with goblin creatures for quite some time. Meanwhile, other creatures have entered the meta: Deathrite Shaman, True-Name, Delver, etc. Goblin Flagbearer is essentially Goblin Warchief, but is 2/1 instead of 2/2, doesn't grant haste and makes all goblin spells cost less, even those cast by your opponent (this would really only be relevant in a mirror match). All this for two mana less. Goblin Flagbearer can attack into Deathrite, unlike Lackey. The point isn't to make Lackey obsolete, I just want to make another really good goblin 1-drop.
Wizards will never print a symetric creature, because 21 y/o children dislike them "how come mah goblin helpz the other goblinz?" :rolleyes:
Good design. I think there could be a boost in other colors, too. White for soldiers/knights, black for imps/thrulls, green for dryads/beasts, blue for homarids/drakes/leviathans or some other silly tribe. Nerf blue, improve other colors, introduce some interesting not often seen tribes to shake up things in less mainstream formats like Tribal Wars, all this in a Homelands/TSPblock setting with reasonable power level. Must be good.
It would be cool if Slivers got even more love in a special product. Something similar to like Elvish Visionary or Silvergill Adept, something that allows Slivers to draw cards.Quote:
