Everyone has their own opinion of whats pimp. Theres no need to tell someone else how to pimp their decks. To one player japanese foils might be pimp, but another player english foils might be pimp. No need to whine and argue and to tell other players how to pimp their decks. Each and every player has their own opinions. Period.
Have any of you ever seen Portuguese foils? Yeah, that's why I like them.

No one around here buys booster boxes in Portuguese. They are too fucking expensive, compared to buying stuff outside the country. I blame the taxes. In the end, everyone got English foils everywhere, but only a few Portuguese foils. I don't chase them, but I still only have stumbled upon two single good foil cards in the last year from booster packs and those were a Swans of Bryn Argoll (still got it) and that RG filter land.

True, but I've been told before that the Textless Lightning Bolts like that would not be allowed.
Main problem, they have no name. You could easily misrepresent one to someone who doesn't know what it is.
I didn't really think "People that don't know what Lightning Bolt is", even existed!
But just the other week at our Legacy tournaments here in Wadsworth, there was a new player and I was like "EOT, Bolt your guy"
I was stopped and had to explain what Bolt was. The player was a Type 2 player, normally, but still!
The same would apply to foreign cards. Noone has a problem with those, right?
I would assume that a card not having a name at all would make it illegal for tournament play, which would actually make sense.
I always forget that the DCI caters to drooling mongoloids by making the name of a card irrelevant as long as the picture is recognizable.

I know NOTHING of Korean and pretty much NO Chinese.
