Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
I've bought from him plenty of times. No issues with condition. A couple times the order may have been incorrect but he's quick to respond to communication and fix it. As for price? Show me another vendor with the selection of stuff I am looking for cards or how to get cards shipped to the US from MKM and maybe I would change my buying habits.

What it takes to be a pimp:
1. Knowing the right people.
2. Have the money
Not one or the other, but both.
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
This just furthers my belief that the majority of the people who post in this thread have no concept of proper grading. Power to you but I prefer to actually receive what I pay for. My whole argument is based on the point that his selection isn't that impressive if you do a little digging. Have fun paying a 60% mark up, there's a reason why the majority of his auctions wheel month after month. So much for a PSA.

BTW, how come that guy have such good ratings?
I've bought stuff from him and almost all my friends have bought stuff from him and not had any major problems with receiving items or condition. Yeah his prices are absurd, but sometimes degenerates like us buy them, so it's not like you can fault him for that. He's shipping from freaking Singapore. Of course it's going to take a while.
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
AFAIK, he has the only three copies of Korean City of Brass on the entire market. They are nowhere near NM however. This has been a waste of my time and money.

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
On the entire market...excluding MKM Europe
You can get a NM one for 18€. There's also a Ex-Good playset available.
/edit: somehow direct linking doesn't work. you gotta head to https://www.magiccardmarket.eu and google it yourself from there if you want one.
How much did you even pay in the first place?
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
I've ordered from him before aswel, only problems i've had that he didnt send everything, but after an email about the missing cards he'd always send them then.

I'm worried about the condition of the card.....not how long it takes to get here.

Take pictures as you're opening up the package. Demonstrate that the cards you thought you purchased are not the ones you received (condition-wise), and open up a case to get a refund. eBay gives really good buyer protection, so you just need to make sure you document it well.
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
You call it buy protection, I call it the reason I stopped selling through ebay and especially paypal. Paypal has so shitty seller protection, it's not even funny. More than often you have to run after your money for weeks and send in countless emails in order to win a case. Seller? Sit back and relax.
Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather have it this way than to give to much power to sellers. But paypal is just off balance. At least that's the way it was before I stopped using it about 1-2 years ago. But I feel people had this kind of conversation in this thread before, so I'll shut up and ask to see a Foil German Goblin Matron Playset. Pretty please!
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
Koby, I can't tell if there are scratches, dents or wear on the card but if it's just dirt you can easily clean is with a slightly damp cotton bud if you don't want to go through the stress of the returns process.

That copy was very dirty (and hence, not NM).
The other two copies had imprints from what looks like someone wrote with a ballpoint pen, and consistent with what Ertai's Familiar described upon his inspection; which again disqualifies it from NM condition.
Hence, not as described in the auction.

Exactly.....that's my concern. Since we're paying a premium price for those cards, at least it should be in the condition as advertised. Seems like the mail man tried to deliver the cards but I was at work. Most likely I have to drive over to the post office to pick it up. Still have hope. *crossing fingers*

Was eyeballing a playset of foil Japanese Delvers and contemplating it the past few days since I have a friend who would love them. But now that I've read the past couple of posts...I'll probably pass. And besides...100$ American for 4 Foil Japanese Delvers? Not worth it right despite this being the Pimp thread?

Should I buy one of those 65" monitors so I can view the pics?

So. Much. Cyrillic. Looks sweet, especially the opportunity to screech "MREOOOOOW" at your opponent when you drop Qasali Ambusher on their Bob.

Last night, even though it was likely a sub-optimal play, I Fauna Shamaned away a Smiter mid combat just to get Ambush Cat. Then ironically; I ambushed his not exalted Qasali Pridemage. Cat on cat crime.
