Wouldn't you want EE instead since there's a chance it hits more things? Like, if you wanted a targeted removal on Chalice well putting EE on 0 will also hit any Mox Diamonds (which are common in Chalice decks). And if there are no artifacts you want to hit, EE can take care of creatures.
Do you intend to buy it back? 5 mana to destroy 1 artifact seems bad against decks that want to limit your mana and when you can kill artifacts with so many other things. Wear//tear destroys both enchantments and artifacts and can be snapped back. Engineered explosives gets most of those things too and can 2 for 1.
BoM Paris Legacy finished yesterday, with the wonderful Johannes Gutbrod finishing on top! 2 Miracles in the top 8, you'll see some familiar cards here :P

EE vs Shattering Pulse
EE pro
generic solution
doesn't target
EE con
sunburst requires tricky mana at times
almost no shot at sorcery speed against Port + Wasteland deck
cannot be flashback-ed
vulnerable to flickerwhisp, Korsan Grip, or the 3/2 Thalia, if you cannot activate immediately
too slow at times
Shatter Pulse pro
huge against DnT, 4 Vials, 2 or more equipments, revoker
can be flashback-ed
Shatter Pulse con
artifact only can be narrow, doesn't deal with Choke
If you manage to survive the early game, in which I assume decent Miracles players will be able to do, certainly you will be able to pay 5 Mana at opponent's eot to buyback. In MU against chalice/needle/null rod/winter orb/inkmoth nexus, don't need to buy it back. Even if you don't, being able to flash it back is already huge. I just listed a lot of cards, is pulse really that narrow?
So~ Tired of Cavern -> recruiter -> Prelate on 1 -> later Prelate on 6
So~ Tired of post Terminus Cavern -> recruiter to rebuild the board, it's like Goblins sandbagging matron/ringleader.
Kozilek Return / Izzet Staticaster / StP
Anyway yes. DnT has become much worse.
Shattering Pulse is (close) to being strictly worse than both Wear/Tear and Disenchant.
1: It's red, which requires you to play Mountain (which is not a problem, and something most of us do anyhow)
2: Doesn't do anything against enchantments, which means you have to have Wear/Disenchant anyhow, as you don't want to lose to sylvan/Choke/Whatever random enchantment you might lose to anyhow.

DnT everywhere!! Do we try back again the Esper Miracle?
Massacre is great with Mentor. You just need 1 spell before it and every token of yours is safe.
It's very playable with the new Instant Vindicate. Sure, your lose Pyroblast Sulfur Elemental Pyroclasm and Izzet Staticaster.
Maybe it's not worth it..
don't worry, Sulfur Elemental and Izzet Staticaster will do the trick for us
I think it's worthwhile to consider the conditions under which it might be worth it to switch red mana in for black in the context of this DnT menace. Only then could we possibly decide whether it's worth it.
1. Red blasts wouldn't be better than discard like Thoughtseize.
2. Black mana would have to unequivocally solve DnT, with Dread for example.
3. Red's additional tools Blood Moon, Wear Tear, etc would need to have equals in the black pool or substitutes elsewhere.
4. Enough DnT would have to exist to be worth solving.
While I think (2), that a few black spells added to the Miracles shell are enough to completely swing the matchup, holds solidly, I don't think any of the others do.
Why not simply use Kozileks return or pyroclasm like we always have? I don't think black would ever need to be added.
They kill Sufur Elemental which is our best friend.
Seen how strong it is I was thinking about Electrickery in that matchup instead of Pyroclasm) alongside the third Sulfur and second Staticaster.
This way you can still play Clique and everything..
Only problem: you can't Snapmage into Overload cost
You would dedicate that many slots to the white aggro matchup? I understand that there are a couple other niche applications, but 6?

I'd an interesting situation come up, opponent on Esper Deathblade has a lethal Jitte + TNN with Wasteland. I have 2 Islands, Plains, Arid Mesa, Top, 3 life and no cantrip or lifegain in hand. End of his turn, top into Engineered Explosives, Island, Tundra. Do you fetch to find Terminus/cantrip into Terminus or do you draw EE and Island? If so, main phase or end of turn?
Opponent has a few cards, know nothing about them. We have nothing that can help us survive, No lands, Have StP and Mentor. At 3 life with only 3 basics and 1 Fetch. 3 Terminus left, 0 Council's Judgment, 1 Engineered Explosives.
