ayy, assuming Lurrus does get booted on Monday I did for once do everything right in deciding to wait it out this time and quit Legacy entirely until the inevitable ban. Last time I actually bought the Breaches and Freezes and never got to play them before the hammer hit. At least they were cheap...
There is nothing stopping them from converting all Modern GP's into Pioneer GP's, especially once they get Pioneer developed into Arena. I don't know if that is literally their plan, but it would make perfect sense. Modern has become another Legacy for them: a problematic older format to manage. MTGO will continue to exist for Vintage/Legacy/Modern but Arena will be Standard/Pioneer.Quote:
