(My) Sligh's 14 creature base is just enough to get the job done through minor removal, and against the decks that pack more than that (like control) are usually good matchups regardless.
(My) Sligh runs 27 burn spells, so it's still a burn deck at heart.
I'm not coming on here bashing Burn though, as they are very similar decks. I was just answering the question that urdjur asked. Both approaches have advantages and disadvantages, and I feel that Sligh comes out on top. Personal opinion.
