Is there a reason why Bonfire of the Damned is better than All is Dust? I just couldn't think of a reason other than to topdeck it and win the game and to deal a marginal amount of damage.

Yes, yes, yes, no, yes. Also included punishing fire in there as well as some more outliar choices. Bolt's 3 range is less important for its damage but rather its casting cost. Giving you room for strong repeals later. 3's of noteworthiness are Jace, Avenger, goyf, and Liliana.
I tested MD sneak attacks and found them highly sub par. Sneak attack is not for all matchups at all. Mostly mana denial and hand denial. Against a fast clock in the form of aggro or combo, you need more answers than 5 mana-double red-need two cards finishers.
one question. this deck is enough competitive to do anything or just fun cards? i ask because i really love to play it but no all cards in real. ...but i see no 1st on event report...
Didn't playtest it so extensively, but the singleton md copy came in handy multiple times, expecially against jund and elves. Hiding as usual behind chasm and wiping almost their entire board for 3 mana wasn't that bad. It usually grabs a couple of permanents, but i assure you that killing 2 bobs while playing against jund changed the destiny of that round definitely in my favor. It also saved my butt while i was on the draw against an ancient tomb-> chalice@1 start, smashed my opponent's blood moon (i had already fetched the 2 basic lands), killed 3 flipped delvers in a row for 2 colorless mana and a huge army of "empty the warrens" goblins too.
Sure it sometimes has the downsides of oblivion stone, expecially if you feel you have to nuke the cc1 permanents while you still have your needles and candelabras in play, but i'd say that pesky permanents usually have a cc0 or cc2.
The Academy Ruins + EE combo actually sounds devastating in this meta.
That might be a crazy idea but I want to test 2 Shifty Doppelganger in the SB.
Against D&T it is not taxed by Thalia and they regularly side out StP against us. I am aware that against removal it is more fragile than Sneak Attack (not AD-proof, any -1/-1 effect...), but I find the blue requirement attractive...
Any thoughts? Or am I just crazy :) ?
Well, i'm pretty sure your Dnt opponents weren't that much accustomed in fighting our deck, because StP easily answers all our threats but Emrakul, so it should undoubtely stay in their deck.
Tbh, that Doppelganger seems bad to me. Overcosted to play and to use, easily removable... i would stick with 4 S&T instead.
Jeremiah's 11th-place build from the SCG Open is the Daily Deck on the Daily MTG site.

A little exposure never hurt anyone :) Grats!
I know about what to side out for Sneak Attack vs. Blood Moon decks but vs. other types of decks you said you would use this card against, what would you consider siding out first for Sneak Attack? Is it necessary vs. those decks?
Thanks for the reply Davek!
In fact I was mentioning that card for S&T 5 and 6 in the SB (I always play 4 S&T maindeck). But you are probably right, that thing seems overcosted. I will test it nonetheless as I really am interested by the Sneak Attack effect in blue.
Concerning EE, I have been running 2 maindeck (with 2 Trinket Mage lately and so far I find it fine. A while ago I use to run Oblivion Stone (in the main and after in the side) and I prefer EE to it. I don't remember any situation where I'd prefer a Stone rather than an EE. I have yet to try the new red version as setting a miracled Bonfire is much less mana intensive than Trinket -> EE -> cast and activate...
For those who tested EE and Bonfire, what are your preference?
StP is bad against this deck, DnT should probably side them out.
I like how LSV says Showing in a Titan isn't too bad either when it's actually THE card we want to put in almost every single time.
Heh, he wrote he never played the deck, i think it's normal for a neophyte of this archetype.
About StP, how are they supposed to beat a random Titan if not having it? A single Primeval can easily race half of their deck! Relying on Aven Mindcensors only seems really too narrow (and some lists don't even play them).
Red build is fun and works, but requires significant knowledge of the deck, and sometimes just shits the bed vs a nonspecific meta. Trying a tradititional U/G build again. Largest testing is ponder, and Venarian Glimmer.

Venarian Glimmer is there so your hand doesn't get overloaded with counters you have to be able to cast all in one turn. It lets you alternate between super defensive and aggressive against combo, along with being live vs the fastest of storm decks who run LED.
Hi folks!
I'm new here, so first of all: sorry for my poor english...
I used to play the U/G version of this deck and want to revive it. "My" list is quite usual, 7 creatures build, 4 crops, 4 tops,...nothing special at all.
Now my ideas:
Ghostly Flicker seems awesome to me. Good against Wasteland, StoP,...and just insane @titan, glimmerpost, cloudpost or candelabra.
Meekstone for SB, nice against Delver and Nemesis, my biggest troublemaker.
Main Maze of Ith helped me several times and can be sweet with Vesuva/Candelabra.
Snap could be interesting, bounce canonist and untap cloudpost sounds good, at least in theory....?
Please feel free to criticize, any opinion / hint would be great. Thanks
