Titania has been performing better and better lately. Friend of mine is running one in a PFire Maverick list and he is quite happy with the card. Running Safekeeper in the same list is an obvious choice. Do you have test results playing together in the list (or any other list for that matter)?
Glissa is a fine card. The combination of First Strike and Deathtouch is pretty awesome. If there would just be a way to get more value out of her ability. A singleton EE might be to random. Diabolic Intent perhaps?
I might consider testing all three in my PFirw list and see how that would turn out.
Yeah, Titania + Safekeeper is usually game over the following turn.
The deck can struggle a bit against other attrition based deck (Shardless to name it).
If your meta is full of Shardless consider cutting the lone golgari for a recurring nightmare.
Glissa does not bring any value to the deck, unfortunately. It is just a "wall" and can stall grounds with the help of Safekeeper.
Space is tight anyway. I have included a lone EE to, potentially, get some value out of Glissa but this is meh.
I've found that this deck requires a very good knowledge of the list your opponent is playing. GSZing for the wrong creature in some MU is game over.
23 lands is good. Sometimes you'll flood out, otherwise you should feel pretty fine.
The only thing that bothers me is the lack of the true "power", save Titania. You don't crawlback into a game facing 2 goyfs 6/7 (or 7/8).
The only slot that can really be cut MD is "Militant" and if she goes, it could be for another Scavenging Ooze. Gravehate is not very far from its peak right now with all the delve (DTT, Tasig, you name it) and graveyard strategies flying around.
BSK can also be an option as a true late game bomb (attached to Sigarda for example) but the mana curve would suffer from its inclusion that 's for sure.
Please keep us posted after testing Titania + Keeper in Punishing Fit !

Could be a new toy for BUG Fit & BUG Pod Fit.
The legendary thing is annoying but well.
I also like a lot this one (Scapefit, Jund Fit ? A Jace killer):

Kolaghan, Dragonlord
Cost : :4: :r: :b:
Legendary Creature : Dragon Elder
Flying, Haste
Other creatures you control have haste
Whenever an opppnent cast a creature or planeswalker spell, if this spell has the same name as a spell in his or her graveyard, that player loses 10 life

Too bad there are not green !!!

So played a similar list last night to a 3-0-1 finish. I noticed in every match I was missing one important GSZ target. Totally forgot to put a Rec sage in the list. I never lost a game to it, but batterskull ended up slowing down a lot of matches.

New GW Elder Dragon

Dragonlord Dromoka

Legendary Creature - Elder Dragon
Dragonlord Dromoka can't be countered.
Flying, lifelink
Your opponents can't cast spells during your turn.
Sooo... Uncounterable and Zenithable? Shuts down your opp during your turn? Big fatty flying lifelinker? I would play this for funsies, but trying gauge how this might fare in a competitive environment. Kinda shuts down blue players. Kinda shuts down Miracles players. Evasion is great, but how valuable is lifelink? Is this enough value at 6cc?
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
God damn it all, if only that dragon had Hexproof and not uncounterable!
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
Any pod players exited about the new exploit ability being introduced in Dragons of Tarkir? It's probably what the ban with POD in modern was for. So maybe it's gonna make it better for legacy.
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
Seems like a solid card, but CMC 7 is to much. Flying + Trample is juice and dealing 5 dmg devided between creatures and walkers upon etb is pretty decent. Good thing is that it is zenithable.

The next one is more in range with its mana cost, but 3 touhgness is kinda weak. The ability's to wipe the board and flying are a big plus. And it is also zenithable.

Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
Hey all, new poster but I've been reading this forum for about a year now (since I picked up BUG Pod).
I'm excited for some exploit goodies, and they just announced that the PWs for Origins will be dual-faced cards that start as a legendary creature and then transform to a planeswalker. Liliana was spoiled and looks incredible for this deck, even more so in pod variants I think. I'm very excited for the ability to tutor for planewalkers with pod.
Liliana, Heretical Healer
1BB
Legendary Creature - Human Cleric
Lifelink
Whenever another non-token creature you control dies, exile Liliana, Heretical Healer, then return her to the battlefield transformed under her owner's control. If you do, put a 2/2 black Zombie creature token onto the battlefield.
Liliana, Defiant Necromancer
Planeswalker - Liliana
+2: Each player discards a card.
-x: Return target nonlegendary creature card with converted mana cost X from your graveyard to the battlefield.
-8: You get an emblem with "Whenever a creature dies, return it to the battlefield under your control at the beginning of the next end step."
3
I personally can't wait to see the others especially Jace and Nissa (I think Nissa is the G walker).
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
Over the past couple of weeks I have faced Sneak and Show several times, although I'm not sure it may very well be GB Nic Fit's literal worst matchup.
I have beaten Storm and Reanimator as well as Elves, while they're not easy matchups I still feel like I have the power to win with some good draws and tight play.
Is there anything worth playing to shore up the Sneak and Show matchup in a straight green black Nic Fit list or should I just work with what I have and accept that it's just a terrible matchup?
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
1) Dragonlord Dromolka, while cool, doesn't solve the problem of having hexproof. Sure, not being countered is awesome, but running headlong into STP is not. If it had hexproof attached, I'd run it in the Thagtusk slot.
2) Wolf Run has never been relevant in the games I've played. Having to fetch the offcolour is super awkward when you start to get into 6-fetch territory and not on 4 Deathrites. I don't think it's worth the splash, and it's been relevant in not having Stronghold. I'll leave Wolf Run to Jund in what would be their Karakas slot.
3) Slaughter Games has been good. Jace is a bitch. Enough said. Entreat can be annoying, but we have more than a few ways to wipe out tokens.
4) I tried Slime in the Thragtusk slot. He seems fine, to be honest. I like blowing up lands, stuff out of Painter.deck, etc. He might just turn into Rec Sage again, but I wanted to try Land destruction :P
5) Harbinger of the Hunt seems really good at 5 mana, by dying to bolt sucks. Just wondering if this is better than Broodmate. Seems good against DnT, Elves, etc. but a 3-mana one-regioned Pestilence could be better. Worth trying.
6) Atarka at 7 mana is tough. Might just want to run something else since 7 is pushing it.
7) Thrun against Miracles was pretty essentially in the games I played. Sigarda, while good, did get Counterspelled and GSZ was countered as well. The Miracles matchup is tough especially since I removed Grips for another Slaughter Games. I think the sideboard may require tweaking again. The matchup isn't abysmal, and my opponent did draw extremely well last night, but I'd like to shore up this matchup. Pithing Needles would help a lot to turn off Jace. They may be better than Teeg in this deck.
8) Liliana seems interesting.
9) There are a lot of matchups that aren't easy, with either of the Nic Fit builds. You're a slow derdly midrange deck with no stack interaction, meaning combo is going to be not the greatest, in any form.
12 Post isn't a great matchup, Storm isn't wonderful, SnT isn't great, you're okay against Dredge and Reanimator, Miracles is even-ish, and the rest of the Delver and midrange decks are very favourable.
If you're in straight GB, you don't have a lot of anti-Combo options. White at least gives you Teeg, Canonist, and a few other bears and tricks while Red provides REB, Slaughter Games, and a few other cards.

Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
Ok some cool tech just showed up:
http://media-dominaria.cursecdn.com/...7332042669.png
Seems interesting, in a JUND list with PFire this might be fun. 3x PFire if you have 2/3 Groves out. 4/4 body is rather small for a CMC 6, but it has flying. On the other hand, what are we going to do with all the mana, if you can cast or GSZ for this card we have all the mana we need to run the deck anyway.
http://media-dominaria.cursecdn.com/...6459709431.png
Now this is getting my excited in a BUG Pod list as its 6 drop. Pseudo The Abyss. Also has a 4/4 body with flying. This thing coupled with Sidisi and perhaps the new Liliana it could be awesome all together.

Is there a reason why Junk lists have booted Sun Titan? Seems like it's even better with Recurring Nightmare and Rhinos, not to mention the good ol' recycling Deeds/Ewitness

I think it's a matter of determining whether or not the limited recursion is worth it. There are very few permanents we can get back with Titan, most of which you mentioned, and those are all great targets. I think in a lot of situations, if we are resolving a 6-mana spell unopposed, we may already be winning. I could be wrong, though.
On the other hand, it definitely advances our inevitability, especially if we target Deed or Nightmare.
Also, I should probably introduce myself to the thread since I've basically just been lurking (I did post once). I'm fairly new to nic-fit but I really enjoy the deck and am planning on dedicating myself to it. I'm currently running a pretty stock rock list (basically sdematt's list posted a couple pages ago). I'm really impressed with the deck in all of its forms.

Went 2-1-2 at my local Big legacy.
There was a BUG explorer deck using Pros Bloom. I wish I saw the deck more.
Lost to elves in 2.
Beat American Delver in 3.
Drew with Jeskai Asc in 3.
Drew with u/r/w blade in 2.
Beat u/r/w blade in 2.
I saw 3 decks playing with monstary mentor today.
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
Just got back from this weeks local going 3-1.
I shelved my punishing nic fit and gave matts junk list for a spin. Let me just say, I love it.
Seige Rhino was a beast all day. That card was always amazing, everytime it hit the battlefield. The path to exiles over swords was a huge win also.
I never drew recurring nightmare once all day, so I can't even speak to the card.
My only loss was to punishing jund. Game 1 I flooded out like I hadn't in years.. seriously drew 6 land in a row (non fetches). Game 2 I just couldn't get ahead, it happens. Was a very quick round.
Awesome List and I definately plan to tweak and play it going forward.
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
So... I had a lot of fun yesterday. I ended 2-3, where in the last round I had a bye so really it's a shamefull 1-3, but still. I was still surprised by how hard a time my opponents had killing me.
I was running the following list (named Timmy Nic Fit):
Main (60)
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Veteran Explorer
4 Fierce Empath
4 Summoner’s Egg
1 Tasigur, the Golden Fang
1 Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
1 Griselbrand
1 Iona, Shield of Emeria
1 Darksteel Colossus
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
4 Swords to Plowshares
4 Cabal Therapy
4 Diabolic Intent
4 Pernicious Deed
4 Windswept Heath
4 Verdant Catacombs
2 Marsh Flats
1 Temple Garden
1 Godless Shrine
1 Overgrown Tomb
3 Forest
3 Swamp
1 Plains
1 High Market
1 Dryad Arbor
Sideboard (15)
4 Duress
1 Gaddock Teeg
1 Scavenging Ooze
2 Faerie Macabre
1 Blazing Archon
1 Sphere of Law
1 Kaervek the Merciless
4 Carpet of Flowers
In the end, the deck fell short due to being too inconsistent (as expected). I'll list a report anyway, just to share in the fun.
Round 1 - vs BUG Delver (1-2):
Game 1 wasn't all that special. Never really drew much, he had an early clock and I decided to keep my Eggs in hand to surprise him game 2.
SB: -2 Pernicious Deed, +2 Duress
Game 2 I had a nice hand. Some removal, a Fierce Empath, an Egg, that kind of stuff. At some point I play the Empath and see the first eyebrow raised. A turn later (I've Therapied/Duress'd him sometime before and am pretty sure he has no more FoW) his board is 2 DRS, Tasigur and a Goyf I drop the Egg. Second eyebrow goes up. Flashback Therapy. Good morning Emrakul! I hear an audible "Oh crap", activate DRS on his turn to get him to 11. He concedes.
Game 3 went somewhat similar. I get to drop Elesh Norn, killing 2 of his DRS and shrinking his 2 Goyfs. Unfortunately he has a Murderous Cut. 2 turns later, I bite the dust.
Round 2 - vs RUG Delver (1-2):
Game 1. The last time I played this guy, he was on ANT. So I kept a one-lander with a Therapy and some other stuff. He wins the die roll and goes T1 Tropical Island. I go "uh-oh"... I draw another Therapy, play my land and pas the turn. T2, he fetches a Volcanic Island and drops a Delver. I lose shortly after.
SB: -4 Pernicious Deed, -1 Darksteel Collossus, -1 Cabal Therapy, +4 Carpet of Flowers, +2 Duress
Game 2 goes long. I live the Tasigur-dream, forcing him to return a Plow to me after dumping 2 lands from the top of my library and plow his Goyf. The following turns, Tasigur gets me a Cabal Therapy and a Carpet of Flowers. Some time later I know my opponent has a Daze on hand and manage to hardcast Griselbrand with mana left for the Daze. He scoops.
Game 3 was epic. He got me down to 3 fast and I was staring at a flipped Delver and a 3/3 Nimble Mongoose while my board was empty. I topdeck Tasigur and have Egg + Emrakul + Therapy in hand. Therapy, name FoW. Miss, yes! 1 mana, drop Tasigur. 4 mana, drop Egg, put Emrakul inside, crack the Egg, strip his hand of the Goyf it's holding. Alright, I've got blockers for his crits and have him dead the next turn. Meanwhile, a bit of a crowd has gathered. He topdecks Bolt, and the crowd (including myself) goes wild! So close!
Round 3: vs D&T (2-1)
Game 1. He mulligans to 4 while I have a nice hand. I Plow his Mother and Deed his board to hell and rode the flying spaghetti-monster to victory.
SB: -1 Darksteel Colossus, +1 Blazing Archon
Game 2 I made a major fuck-up (which cost me the game). After having an Elesh Norn returned to my hand by Karakas I manage to find an Egg and the Archon. So as soon as he taps out, I play it. At this point I've already put a Therapy in my graveyard but forget about it completely. So instead of flashbacking Therapy, dropping the Archon and naming Swords to Plowshares I just pass the turn expecting him to run his Batterskull into my Egg. Instead, he taps W (as soon as he does that I realize my mistake) and casts, you know it, Swords to Plowshares. The game goes even longer and eventually he takes it.
Game 3, time to make up that fuck-up. I see a nice hand with some land, an Explorer, an Egg, Blazing Archon and High Market (I couldn't find a Phyrexian Tower at the last moment). Nice. As soon as I seen an opening I drop the Egg, drop the High Market and eat the Egg. Poof, Archon! The next turn my opponent drops a Containment Priest. I draw into Egg + Iona and also have the Plow. So on the end of his turn, I Plow the Priest. On my turn drop the Egg and eat it, naming white for Iona. He can't attack or play white spells now and concedes.
Round 4: vs ANT (0-2)
I try hard but die even harder, 'nough said.
The deck was a blast but nothing more than a one time thing. When it does it's thing, it's great. When it doesn't, it's just sad. It is fun to be able to turn games around completely, but this deck is just too inconsistent. It's fun to see it can hold its own vs. non-combo, but it's still back to the casual box for this puppy.
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
Punishing Fires Nic Fit versus RG Combo lands and/or BUG Turbo Depths:
Marit Lage
While we have good tools to fight the graveyard and Slaughter Games helps to prevent key cards seeing play at all it does not stop Dark Depths. Also Cabal Therapy for stuff like Crop Rotation works wonders and Abrupt Decay still hits Vampire Hexmage thru a bunch of counters. Even Liliana of the Veil is a threat, but she along with all the other magic we have can't the seemingly inevitable combo to happen in you end step: Thespian Stage's ability copying a Dark Depth's resulting in a Marit Lage that untaps and attacks for lethal...
So far i hadn't had to much trouble winning against this combo when facing Jund Depth's, because it was a LOT slower AND Extirpate / Deathrite Shaman shenanigans where often able to slow them down enough to win. Casting an Extirpate on Dark Derpths in response to a Life from the Loam that has flipped the land in the graveyard in the first place is golden. But this trick doesn't happen when facing straight RG and BUG depths.
In the past i wasn't worried about Depths to much, since it didn't show up that often. Plus often the pilot's where trying to figure out how to play against PFire NicFit and made error's. So winning from Depths wasn't that hard. But now that the RG combo lands is tier 1 AND thru experience against Turbo Depths i feel that i need something to fight back, with more focus.
So, i am looking at the problem from two directions:
1. Fight the combo, kill the land and solve the problem in it's core. The only way i feel that is best is to detroy the Dark Depths (or Thespian Stage copy) when it's sacrifice trigger is on the stack. Most decks run Wasteland maindeck. Other options are suboptimal cards like Chaos Warp or Wrecking Ball. Another option would be Pithing Needle, which on his turn also has the ability to stop Sneak Attack, Griselbrand, Jace, Ugin or Wasteland.
2. Fight the creature, Marit Lage is a 20/20 Industructible Flyer. Most often, after the combo, it is the only creature your opponent controls. The first option comes to mind is Diabolic Edict. Sometimes it shows up along with Vampire Hexmage or Nether Spirit. Abrupt Decay or Punishing Fire should be ready to take of those first. Also Chaos Warp could help.
So 3 cards that looks interesting in a possible setup are:
2 Pithing Needle, fighting the combo
1 Diabolic Edict, fighting the creature
1 Chaos Warp, being able to fight both
BUT i am not happy to have to take out cards from my maindeck in order to find room for those cards. Anyone has any ideas concerning this MU?
Edit: some else mentioned Beast Within as a playable card in NicFit. It does prevent the Marit Lage from happening if you response with it on the trigger.
Edit2: Sowing Salt looks like a solid card, but very focussed. Also sorcery, 4 (2RR) mana and requiring the land already being in play kinda sux.

How about running 2-3 Profane Commands in a non-combo metagame?

I'd rather squize in a singleton Black- and Red Sun's Zenith. Although i have Toxiv Deluge in the SB i like the idea of shuffling those cards back. Plus RSZ can easily have the mana to shoot down bigger creatures like Goyf or Siege Rhino.
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
I heard that Blood Moon is quite good vs them.
