Thanks for your replies. Playset of italian Resets = 1 english FoW and I really don't like Spring Tide. It's so awesome to go off in response to some spell. And there wasn't any player of this deck in local store. Spell Snares or Pierces can work quite good. I have to do some observations during local tournaments tho. I stopped playing half an year ago and don't have any clue how the meta looks like. As far as I know, Merfolks and Zoo's are common as well as landstills. But zoo shouldnt be a problem, right? I thought Solidarity is faster than zoo/goblins even without dealing T1 nacatl/lackey.
Maybe this is the best sustitute for FOW. The only thing you have to is focus on going of and protect yourselt from spells that stop the combo. However you'll be unable to stop the speed up spells of your oponents...Quote:

That's wrong often enough. T1 Lackey/Nacatl means they can kill you turn 3. Solidarity usually goldfishes with 4 lands on the table, so a T3 clock can be a problem. If you don't FoW their guy, Repeal can buy you a turn, so you could think of MDing some of those...Quote:

I canīt approve your list sorry but for me there's no improvement using high tide in sb, there's no justification for 2 peer (if you don't want to use repeal that is the most all around hate and 2 per 1 card) you can use accumulated knowledge (something i might try or not lol), the screw part is dictated by your choices, the deck is very demanding and the repeal is very good as you can use it to search a land and if you don't get it just free yourself of an annoying nacatl or something, however being lazy at shuffle time doesnīt help lol. Btw three wishes is great if you don't have meditate, but as you have meditate it's not even relevant and 1 drop of is unjustifed...
I am always learning with this deck, sone it will conquer me and i'll need an exorcist! The deck as it's own personality!

Ok I have a few questions about some Decisions that I saw in a few Decks, especially sideboards:
1) Why is Words of Wisdom played?
2) Why is High Tide in the sb?
3) For what do you need Slaughter Pact?
Do not get me wrong, I really want to know the points of 1 and 2 badly; 3 isnt just making any sense to me here, If you really want to deal with an annoying creature than pls play Snap over that, but which should annoy us? Gaddock Teeg:laugh:?

(reset + cryptic or high tide + cryptic) It's like an force of will... the importance of cunning wish is like "use it wisely" not get ride of it as sone as possible to fecth the high tide! loool it's like: I have cunning wish what the hell am i going to do with it? just use it for high tide and in this cases you should list to horn buzzing in your head meaning: wrong.
Imagine this: if you are very flexible and if you use really wisely your resources you can win a marathon, however try start running in the first seconds like a dog running to catch a car an you will see that you don't even finished the damm race...

Accumulated knowledge reference: don't try that in really tournaments the card as not prove itself yet...
Impulse, Cryptic or (personally not like it) twincast are fine choices...
A friendly tip: use your sb slots more wisely (i have wright wisely too much today)...
if you want to include some card in this deck the card most be blue, must be instant or must be an island and must have always some advantaged: my add (repeal) is always 2 per 1 because it draw and bounce!
I made good experiences with that Cryptic Command too. Really. Its flexibily is a huge factor in many games, but today its not that relevant I think. I cut one from them and added a Peer through Depths and I am pretty happy with that but dont want to miss that single one!
One thing that I really want to point out how good hibernation is atm in Wishboard. It won me games against those damn angry Vengevines, Progenitus and Survival Decks and Zoo all over. Echoing truth is also fine but the tempo hibernation provides especially against Survival Decks can be huge, test it.
Were you serious about that pact? I didnt got your sarcasm if there was some:confused:. I never lost to Iona a single game so I really dont see a reason for that card, but I can be told better^^.
I was tinkering around many games with fancy stuff and I just can say that I couldnt figure out what card should be better than in the classic built, expect that one Cryptic. I am not talking about the wishboard! The maindeck! The only card that makes sense to me is indeed repeal, was amazing against many decks, but appeared also against some when I definetly not wanted to see those. I am not sure, its more like a metacall I guess. The really hopeful addition is Hunting Pack in the sb, I can just repeat on infinite mode how easy you can sneak a win with that single card! If you are expecting heavy counter wars that Mindbreak Trap is also one hell of a card, but the meta is definetly more aggro-controllish (:eek:wtf) right now and I play more like playing Forces to their Threads and they play their tempocounters (daze/fow/snare/pierce) and buy myself the turns I need with Echoing Truth/Hibernation/Snap/Stuff like that !
I think that this isnt a bad line of play, because it worked out better than holding back the forces to combo turn.
What were your experiences?
I really need to improve my plays against aggro-control (folks/UG(w) Survival/Thresh) and NO-CB-Top decks. Against all others I feel damn confident right now, especially that you can win on turn 3 way more easy with that Hunting Pack.

The thing that seems just logical and needed is that we test a lot against those decks. MWS is free you know and this is a very good area to test, if you are playing a private game (otherwise NOT NOt NOT). The thing i want to say with that is that we maybe should meet and arrange meetings via here to online MWS and test as much as its needed. It is just an Idea but not bad at all, Thats my oppinion!

I'm still a proponent of Tide SB plus 4 Wishes. It makes deck run more consistently, even if a little slower.

finding Tide pre-combo
7 virtual (3 MD) vs 4 MD. --} easier to find with copy in SB
7 untap effects (11 virtual) vs the same. Easy to find at least one either way
Draw effect numers vary depending on whether you're playing Three Wishes, but it's about the same for both versions - and Meditate isn't that necessary, mana is. With enough mana you can chain Impulses and PtD together for as much as you need.
Also:
Tide is the first spell they go for when discarding or countering. That means you need to be able to find multiple copies. Which is easier with copy-in-SB build.
Tide is the first spell to be extirpated. In that case, one of the versions has to win without Tides, the other can grab one remaining from SB.
Turn 3 CC isn't a serious argument. The only thing CC does other counterspells can't is tapping their creatures. Which you can use Turnabout for. And if you're doing it on turn 3, you're not solving the problem (unless you tap a sneak-attacked into play creature, which is, I guess, a very rare case), you still have a lethal (why else would you tap them?) attack coming next turn AND you spent the Tide without which you won't be likely to win next turn anyway. And if you have another Tide in hand...you can play them both turn3, freeze their library into GY and use CC to tap their creatures at the end. Tide is the most precious resource in this deck, we only have so many and we almost always need at least one to win. And they shouldn't be played unless you win, you would lose otherwise or you can Remand it back if necessary.
Cunning Wish for Tide isn't a bad play. Wish isn't Brainstorm, it costs more mana, you can't save them all for miraculous turn when you can make lots of mana and play any numer of 3cc costing tutors. Sometimes it's just this simple: you have Wish, you have mana, you see a possible win next turn and nothing you need to take care of with other SB cards, you wish for Tide and win next turn. Or later, but you already have Tide. Or whatever else you were lacking to win.

On repeal...is it that huge? 2 C. command + 2 Repeal isn't so much? I mean, when you start to go off i'm not sure if they are cars you want to see. I don't know i feel upset when i cast meditate and see remand, command, or fow. However i can`t be a lier, i also feel some relief whent i have that 4 islands and i know that i will do a "time walk" with my command in hand.
In most cases Repeal would be a cantrip (if lucky - just for one blue mana), possibly solving a problem with the need to tap their creatures at the end of combo. Dunno about them MD, I still have to test with at least one Repeal there (although I'll do it for sure, as playing just one FoI seemed too risky to Freeze myself, so I'm switching it for something else with my heart bleeding). I also played with only one CC. Willing to test them as 2, anyway - even if they're not so great during combo, I completely agree with everyone saying they're awesome before that starting with turn 4. And also CC are THE cards easiest to take out when you need to SB something in...
2 CC plus 2 Repeal might be risky, but I'll have to test it. Had a pretty good success (fizzling happened though) some time ago playing Snares in place of Remands, and Snares do not even cantrip. It won't be worse anyway...
@Seraphus: That build that you played at the tourney, that build has been proven and won a tourney before. It was listed at deckchec.net and won a bigger tournament.
Maybe you piloted the deck then?
I know this because that build has been my baseline in tweaking and playing Solidarity.

Dude who didn't lost vs iona: since mystical tutor is banned probably, but before was probably the worst match up (reanimate) that solidarity ever had!
I really like that build, but sometimes Cryptic feels useless and sometimes it doesen't I also had a hard time knowing how to play with FoI and tried out PtD instead.
What are your personal thoughts about your build, could you please write some down? How you use FoI, comboing off, repeal etc..
