This card would be so cool in legacy. It might actually make a Solidarity a tier 1,5 deck (again). But let's be honest this would promote another blue combo deck, that would take quite long to durdle arround before winning. My guess is we are not allowed to have this fun :frown:

Dark petition is a weird one. It seems like it's made workshops firmly the best deck again with TPS right behind it. I feel like the format is even more play-draw dependent than before which isn't a good development even though I love TPS.

I think anyone newer to Legacy hates S&T. I found it to be the most obnoxious deck when I started because regardless of my interaction, I couldn't figure it out. Now I blind Therapys pretty well on them and have a robust plan. It's just an annoying angle of attack. That all said, T1 Emrakuls are still pretty obnoxious.. but it's not much different than 14 goblins. Sometimes combo just has it. Similarly, sometimes you open with something like
T1 DRS, T2 Thalia, Wasteland; I'm sure that's just as obnoxious for combo. Or you open with Delver, Daze, Force, Thoughtseize Wasteland.
Whatever type of player you are, if your deck is any good, it has brutal T1 or T2 openings. Except D&T. Who knows how that thing works. It's like the anti-matter of Legacy. It works; but we've yet to explain it :p

Exactly. TPS specifically got better versus blue decks with the extra bombs that need to be countered and is less vulnerable to things like mental misstep than it used to be. It's still miserable to play against shops with the deck though. Stupid shops players and their uncanny ability to win the play.
That said it's not horrible right now and I see plenty of different decks online. Burning tendrils is fun right now since people are trying to use leylines instead of grafdiggers cages as graveyard hate that works well against petition so I've been beating down with griselbrand a lot more instead of trying to tendrils them.
Having Amulet or Bloom on a banlist in any format is pretty embarrassing for that format.Quote:
