Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
I'm too lazy to assemble duals and fetches and blue cards and I don't feel like playing legacy in vintage. Shops it is ... besides I haven't had the chance to play these since I got them signed. I'm going to fucking dismantle some bitches.

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
If you don't like playing vs shops, in vintage, how about adding some ancient grudges, lightning bolts and a SB mountain for those ingot chewers.
Also, play RUG Delver if you want to win 99% of shops games.

Game loss for having 5 Mishra's Factories in the deck.
I keed I keed! Much respect for those beautiful signed cards! :)
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
Been real successful with Shortcake (R/W Painter) the past few months, so I decided that I would pimp it out!
Just need to get the fetches foiled, and probably going to try and get some Japanese Ancient Tombs and Grindstones.
Also need to upgrade the Plateaus to FBB or I might get them altered. I'd also love to get some signed Pyroblasts

You need foil Blood Moons as well.

True, but The Dark Blood Moons are pretty cool. Ancient Tomb and Lotus petal come in FTV foil, but FTV foils are pretty meh.
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
As a painter player, I am VERY jealous of this. This decks looks beautiful.
I suppose you could grab the foil Petals as well. However, you seems unhappy with the FTV foiling.

My favorite pickup from Portland. Sorry for not meeting source members. Was having too much fun behind the booth.

The archetype as a whole pushes others to seek cheap solutions or those that can bypass curve restrictions i.e. Lighting Bolt - - Snuff Out. The fact that Chalice punishes opponents ability to jump the curve to things like Restoration Angel or utilize cheaper answers like Lighting Bolt, becomes completely broken within the context of Workshops as an archetype i.e. strip effects, resistor effects, and tap effects. There's a fair amount of low quality games that are entirely determined by the roll and CotV, similar to 4X Trinisphere era - it's lousy and it's got to go. That being said many of the BUg lists put out by Amadeus Kurz have a great Workshop match up and I think there's a lot of take aways from the strategies he utilizes.
Give this guy an editbox on the internet and he will type angry words about chalice of the void in it
(I agree)

Stoneforge was one of the official playmats when Worldwake was released. Between the age, the strength of the card, and how underestimated it was at release, they're semi rare. The only one currently on eBay is asking 135.99 BIN

<collection of Mishra's Xs>
That's your problem right there. Only overflow duals/fetches/etc should be used for formats like Legacy and <shudder> Modern. The shadow of my laziness is expansive (though I'm not so haughty as to rule out that perhaps yours could rival or exceed my own), but I'm still having trouble with the implicit primacy this situation places on non-Vintage decks in your household. Personally, I couldn't live like that. Out-of-the-box playable Vintage decks lying around have much greater utility to me than other sorts of decks*.
However, pretty much all my actual playing-mtg-time consists of nothing but cube/vintage/oldskool. It's a lifestyle choice, I guess. If Legacy and Modern get you off, then more Power to you (as long as it gets shuffled regularly).
*Except Enchantress, which doesn't need any justification, but since the most competitive long-term build is sadly not Vintage, I always have a playable Legacy deck in case I get the urge to play "fair" Eternal. Speaking of which: Pimp Dilemma, comments welcome.

I also share your enthusiasm for old lands from the really early days, though with shame I must admit to not owning an Elephant Graveyard.

Very nice.
Need some English Recruiters there, those Judge foils are too easy :)

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
Now that the full art Judge foil lands have been released, how has the Basic Land Hierarchy of Pimp been changed, if at all?
Have people come to a consensus yet?
They violate the rule of "No Promos" but they are also fairly rare and expensive. I am not a fully evolved PimpMaster. I cannot process this information without help.
