Anyway, am I the only one who doesn't really care for Summer? Definitely pimp as fuck and definitely wouldn't say no to owning a piece, but I still find it kinda "bleh" to look at.
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
Well, the particular art version of those mountains are (IMHO) the best. Same as on AN mountains which I use, and on Beta the colors are radiant. Were they summer mountains w/o the green sky and tall tree on the right I, too, would have much respect and still have the "bleh" asthetical feeling. These mountains, however, happen to be the tits. And I am super jelly and want four of my own.

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks

Had to google the reference. Are you going to GP NJ and Eternal Weekend? I assume you are.

I think Flooded Strand is an upgrade. There wasn't much art in the original printing. As a whole, the card is uglier but that's more of a function of the new(est) frame rather than the merit of its art.

EW its fucking on .... Gpnj looks like a hoofderp, brainstorm circle jerk with no unbannings and Khans being a pile of shit. If it were near NYC I'd be down but its in Edison which is a suburban dump. You hitting both?

Someone said there are only six actual paintings in Khans

Not you only. Like cards that look pimped after first look while playing. Cant say so about nonfoil mountain with a common picture (despite i prefer russian foils)
when you have whole table of foil permanents others enjoy playing, not only you
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
I'll post the Painter deck with the Mountains once it's all done.
Thanks for posting, R3dd09 :)

This. Especially the new borders... Absolutely unplayable.

It's like they made them to give something to Modern without reducing value of originals too much
Mire and Foothills look kinda OK but Flooded Strand is so hideous it must be intentional.
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
Does anyone know if Mark Romanoski, Luca Zontini, Greg Hildebrandt, Karl Kopinski, Cliff Childs, Matt Cavotta, Mark Zugg, Greg Staples, Doug Chaffee or Carl Critchlow sign cards via mail? I'm almost done with getting my legacy goblins all foil signed. (except the wastelands, which will never happen.)
Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
There (was?) is a thread on traders that listed various artist contact information. Not sure how up to date it is, and artists can very greatly with respect to the amount of time they take to turn your cards around.

Join this group on FB. There's a list of all artists that sign by mail (and of those who don't with explanations of their reasons or conditions).

Hey Zombiesquisher,
Mark Zug - great signer via mail, but takes a while to return
Mark Romanowski - signed for me no problem, but it was a few years ago
Greg Staple/Carl Critchlow - do not sign via mail, but will sign in person (based in UK, so tough to catch them)
Greg Hildebrandt - spotty... has signed via mail, but usually no. In person he's fine IF you duck his wife.
Matt Cavotta - does sign, but I don't think by mail
Cliff Childs - never tried, but I've heard it's possible
Luca Zontini/Karl Kopinski - no idea
Doug Chaffee - a wonderful man who would sign no problem, also did fantastic sketches if you comissioned him. To this day I treasure all of my great stuff from him, including a 9 card Battletech sketch that simply rocks (he was HUGE into Battletech). He passed away several years ago... I miss him
Hope this helps!!!
Take it easy,
Jared

That's my point exactly, if they did these might be more sought after than the originals. As it is Rob Alexander and Anthony S. Waters are vastly superior artists than the new ones.
