I'd be curious to hear your though process with the list. I'm surprised to not see Grim Tutor, I had thought it was fairly stock in ANT by now. Also Dark Confidant is some 2012 tech. Haven't seen it be good in a while.

why this over TES? funny thing the list inpersonates almost everything I find wrong in Ant building (8U fetches, 2nd island, 1 G land, 2+Preordain, just 3 CT, just 2 Swarm, all 4 AD)
edit: missed Carpet of Flowers - that might cost the semifinal G2 among BS away ToA, btw what happened in G1? anyway hoping for a report or at least MUs recap
I agree to a certain extent. 3 CT does not make much sense because especially during this GP I guess facing Burn or UWx Blade/Delver was a common match.Quote:

I think the switch from TES to Ant is because of the UR-Delver Matchup ,guess which deck has the better one ;)

How was Dark Conf ?
Bob was fine. I added them the morning of the tournament because on modo I played against Tendrils decks around 20% of my matches, and I wanted to gain an advantage in the mirror, and that never came up for me. The card was also fine against Miracles, but I think Young Pyromancer is a better choice if that's the matchup you want that slot for.

@Royce: I guess Massacre was one of your sideboard cards you sided in the most? almost 33% of your opponents played stoneforge mystic (-> read meddling mage) decks.
Another thing: Not sure why you played carpet of Flowers against BBD in the Semifinals after you saw a wear/tear in his hand?
