Green sun's zenith often won't be able to fetch a Behemot or Regal force . So what if we don't have natural order and can't combo off ? Running a gamebreaking card that can be easily fetched with zenith could allow us to win fast also this kind of games, and i Think that the card could be elvish archdruid because it acts both as a lord and as a priest of titania. Do you think the castin mana cost of three (instead of the two of priest) can really be an issue?
I'm not completely sure of this. I admit that i built the deck recently, but in my testing often happened that having a llanowar elf instead of a deathrite would have been better. Running 8 untap effects ( quirion and symbiote ) we can really generate crazy amounts of mana with llanowars, sometimes enough to fetch a craterhoof through zenith, while deathrite often runs out of targets. I agree that his lifeloss ability give reach to our deck, but i make this question to more experienced players : do you really think that the games we grind out due to deathrite can compensate the times when having a llanowar elf and quirions/symbiotes just would allow us to win? (consider also that playing deathrite forces us to play A LOT of fetches so we are vulnerable to stifle , we must cut utility lands like pendelhaven not to mention the life loss fetching)
