There's official ruling about miscuts somewhere. If the miscut is over the width of the card, like this one, the bottom half is the card that is the actual card (because the name and the mana cost are more likely to be visible). So this card is a Pyroblast indeed. If the split if over the length, I believe you get the right card because of similair logic, but I'm uncertain.

For all the Solidarity fanboys out there! :P
Ok...that's quantity. May I introduce you to quality? Three days ago I bought a blue crap-common pack at my shop for 1 Euro. Guess what was in it! Two Reset!
Pass me one of these packs, Resets are never enough!
That's not really "pimp" stuff. Everything but the resets are staples, but nothing "pimp" about them other than that.
The Resets could be considered pimp because english is the most expensive, but still. Signed or altered would be better and definitely considered pimp.

For all you solidarity fan boys out there.
Wooooow, solidarity, completely foil, that must have costed some limbs...
I was wondering what one could do to a Reset, it looks like it really wanted to be altered :-)
Boy, I miss Shahrazad.
Here's a playmat doodled on by Ron Spencer, depicting the poor goblin player seated across from me in what's probably the 5th subgame of the match.

Shahrazad's gone, but the deck still moves on. I'll take pics of the new version soon. Here's a teaser (the Grunts are signed, but didn't photograph well):

Until then, my pretty angels:

Been saving test print scans for a consolidated post in the future but I haven't been contributing to this thread for some time.
I think I can spare one for now:

One of the rarest (if not the rarest) promos around, and a cute collector's item. Not worth much, though.

Will be posting alpha playtest cards soon. Slightly OT, but does anyone have an opinion on whether it is a good idea to grade test prints? I've spoken to BGS and they've given me their blessings, but the dearth of information on test prints and the slightly shady nature of their origin still leaves doubts in my mind. I've some that will likely get at least a 9.5, so I would theoretically like to give it a shot.
Hey Occam, where'd the Splatter come from?
It was a spoof card created by Chanting Monks Studios (CFD Production, as they were known back in 1995). If I am not mistaken, it was given away with some of their comics, although I lack a source on that. Very few exist, and those which do aren't likely to change hands anytime soon (at least based on the people who I know possess other copies of this). It's not really worth a lot, but is a good collector's item.
Yeah, I was thinking of sending some of the white-backed ones for grading, because they can't be played. Those which can be played (SotF, CoT) sometimes have markings on them which would drag the gradings down in any case. Gem mint test prints should appreciate quite a bit in value for that fact alone.
My worries were along the lines of whether BGS would make a mistake with the card name / set, and whether they would be any liabilities due to the fact that a lot of test prints were leaked via illegal means. Summer magic falls partially within this region, and grading them has never been a problem, so test prints might be ok as well, but then and again summer has the advantage of being accidentally released by Wizards in addition to the looting at Carta Mundi.
