Without starting a new thread or doing much searching on this site. . .where do you guys go for foreign cards? I'm looking for Russian cards and am not having much luck.
Starcitygames doesn't have a bad selection, but it's better to find someone in the source country.

Portal was my first set and I didn't even know this card excisted until I started to look for art to put on the car :) If I hadn't found it, I propably would have ended up with a Nicol Bolas (from the promo art with the 4 planeswalkers), without the scratched open metal.Quote:

Not sure how pimp this is, but I recently acquired a miscut Elspeth. Its pretty badly miscut. However how much more would you value it over a regular elspeth? The back is perfectly normal. Thanks in advance!

Was the Tezz miscut too?
A local trader in London opened up 58 miscut Elspeths, all far more severe (the card title is cut off the top and appears on the bottom of the card) than the one you've posted.
Actually, a friend of mine bought a playset from him, so hopefully he will post up some screenshots of them.
The ultimate miscut that was opened was a Tezz title on the bottom and the picture of Elspeth at the top. If you do a search on Ebay for "miscut Elspeth" you should see what I'm talking about. All the miscuts have perfect backs i.e. they aren't miscut on the back.
Sad, he wants so much for them, but i guess he might get it in the end. I wouldn't mind a playset of those.
What are the more pimp'ed Islands, Forest and Plains in your opinion?
Beta Islands or Arena Islands or any other? (No Guru-Lands please, no Full Art Lands, and besides Beta, it has to be foil)

I'm a fan of Shards of Alara basics because they look really nice. I'm also a big fan of Alpha/ Beta lands. Many people prefer Guru, it really doesn't matter. In terms of price, Summer Magic is the "nut high," as Sauce would say.

What's the legality on the island, and what does the back look like?
Back is miscut like the front. I always ask judges, and have never had a problem with the Island. Opaque sleeves cover it just fine.
