There is so much wrong in this post. Not only am I insulted by such a narrow reading of
Ancient Stirrings as a Legacy player, but even more so as Modern player that has played Ancient Stirrings for years.
1. Stirrings digs 5 deep for 1 mana.
2. Stirrings does not just find lands. There is a wide spectrum of colorless cards that are not lands, and to be honest, you should know what they are.
3. Stirrings is another means to clear a stagnate Sensei's Divining Top when the top 3 are abysmal.
But I'll concede the point if you can come back to me with testing results.
