What would you name against Miracles?

Entreats the angels usually. After that, they pretty much are locked out into winning with mediocre beats from their utility creatures (snapcaster, venser, clique), or with jace, both of witch you can take care of with punishing fires.
I had a question tho, do you guys consider devastating dreams to be crazy good enough to run even in the face of all those true name decks arround? In my opinion it's the only reason I endorse the BOM's list decision to cut devastating dreams in vavor of lilianas, the fact that devastating dreams, while devastating ( that was an easy one, I know) against most non combo decks, just seems really bad when there are a buch of true names staring at you across the field.
Right, Entreat is really the only card this deck can't handle (and in the BW version I have wished for Deluge to kill off Main Phased angels before as well as Devastating Dreams'd for 4). And the second Games you draw gets to name Jace. Slaughtergames is also solid vs combo (albeit slow).
As for Devastating Dreams, I could certainly see how you would want to cut it. I may agree. It just isn't as good in as many MUs as before. Still may be worth a SB slot or two simply because it is so powerful vs the decks you want it against.
Once you take the Entreat with Slaughter Games, how do you break out of a countertop lock that is keeping a 2 and 3CC card in their top 3 for the rest of the game?
Edit: Just thought of GSZ for a lot to put any creature into play?
Yep. Assuming miracles isn't main boarding RIP like they were a few months ago, I think the matchup is in our favor. Just take your time, don't over extend, and don't let them clique away PFire
And I guess the plan for Blood Moon is 2x Mox Diamond + Abrupt Decay/Golgari Charm/Pridemage or Mox Diamond + GSZ + Pridemage in the deck?
If we aren't talking about the BOM list, the 1x forest helps cast decay and allows you to burning wish for reverent silence.
Talking about Slaughter Games and the Miracles match up, wouldn't it be better maybe to name Rest in Peace instead of Entreat the Angels?
Eh, mostly you can ignore Blood Moon. Maybe not in super greedy 4c BoM lists, but in regular Jund you just need one Diamond to cast just about the whole deck. Also you're probably going to have Charms/KGrip in the board, so it's not that big of a deal.
@aluisiocsantos: Entreat is still probably the better name because it neuters their main wincon, which buys you a ton of time in the matchup. Generally we get better as the game goes on, and keeping them off angel tokens means you have time to find the Decay for RiP. The angel tokens are also harder for us to deal with than RiP, unless you're running a lot of Maelstrom pulse.
I was talking the super greedy 4C BoM list :)
I was thinking of including a Riftstone Portal in the Horizon Canopy slot (since I don't own an HC). I know I lose an instant draw for loam dredge, but hopefully with the 4 cyclers that will be enough. With it in the yard the deck can still do quite a bit under a Blood Moon until an answer is found.
Thanks for the input Richard! I just started giving the deck a spin after BoM, so i'm still getting the ropes of playing Loam!
It just makes me wonder why I never paid attention to a deck that run two of my favorite cards (Chalice of the Void and Dark Confidant)
I'd definitely play a basic forest in the MD if I were to play the deck. Especially in wish versions where you need to for Reverent silence with moon out, and also gets Hull Breach (which I think only I played)
It wont work like you want. If you target the top and the CB, they flip top and make the spell fizzle.
If the Counterbalance is still there, Hull Breach should still resolve. All targets of the spell need to be unavailable for the spell to fizzle I believe. Like if you Electrolyze two 1/1s, to fizzle Electrolyze the opponent has to somehow blink/bounce/kill both the 1/1s.
I just tested the 4c deck. Even though the manabase looks like a pile, it's surprisingly robust since Mox Diamond is a great fixer. Played against Esperblade, GB Dark Depths and Miracles. The deck felt good against most fair decks except Dark Depths. A quick combo leaves you dead before you can find wasteland or Karakas.
Chalice is a bomb and BGR loam decks should all be running it. Splashing white for Karakas, Teeg (I also play Pridemage over Goyf) and Knight is actually critical. Knight is obviously boss but with the splash the Sneak Show matchup becomes much much better. If they go for a quick Show and Tell, you can blow them out with Knight for Karakas. If they go for the Sneak Attack plan, you have Gaddock and Gsz to stop that plan.
Without the white splash, the Sneak matchup is basically unwinnable. Also Knight is just so boss and Teeg/Pridemage really help against Miracles.
