People wanted my thread titles to be shorter, so there you go :p
2009 has been a great run of legacy tournaments for DHG, and 12/12 is a culmination of them. This tournament is our way of saying thanks to the Legacy community for the phenomenal support you've shown the store.

Where: Die Hard Games 1005 Main St, Unit #2230 (Inside Hope Artiste Village)
Pawtucket, RI 02860
Format: Legacy (competitive REL- 24K!)
Cost $25 (this includes free lunch of pizza/soda :)
Start Time: 12 Noon
Reg: 10:00-11:50 Will not be able to let entrants in past that
Prizes!
1st 4 Underground Sea
2nd 4 Tundra
3rd 4 Volcanic Island
4th 4 Tropical Island
5th-8th choice of 4 Savannah, 4 Badlands, 4 Taiga, and 4 Plateau based on finishing order
9th-12th 4 sealed boxed sets of From The Vault: Exiled
13th-16th Choice of 4 Misty Rainforest, 4 Scalding Tarn, 4 Arid Mesa, 4 Marsh Flats based on finishing order
Top 8 prizes based on 40 people, 9-12 based on 50 people, 13-16 based on 60 entrants
DHG Bonus prizes: $50 for 50!
If 50 or more entrants show, $50 in store credit will be added to the prize pool. Bring your friends :p

There have been 4 players who attended all four of my Saturday legacy tournaments since I took the store over in May. Sam Wang, Tom MacDonald, Rod Cordoba and Dana Renfrew. The highest placing player of these 4 will win $30 store credit in addition to any other prizes won.
$10 Kird Ape prize:
Highest placing finisher with Kird Ape in their deck or sideboard will win $10 store credit in addition to any other prizes won. You can even play just one copy if you want.
$10 Nice to meet you prize:
Highest placing new player will receive $10 store credit in addition to any other prizes won. New player is defined as someone who has not played in one of my prior 4 Saturday Legacy tournaments this year. If you've been meaning to come down but couldn't for whatever reason... come on down!
Wanted to cap the year off with something huge, so here it is.

Best of luck with this tournament though. Good to see so many (and by so many I mean 2) big-sized tournaments going on in New England. I really hope this trend continues.

You should be on tour with me in the van that week. We could rage with a bunch of booze and bitches!@!@!
This Date needs to be changed. Please I really want to make it but that weekend is impossible.

Dave you're killing me. Much as I would love to be there, that is the Saturday before finals week for me. Best of luck with this one, I'm very glad to see that these are doing well.

Im skeptical if Dave would after seeing his disapproval of that heavy set black woman on the KFC commercial shown before watching UFC. :laugh:

Lies, no magic tourney has ever started on time and I don't think this will be any diffrent than those in the past, though I do have it from a reliable source that decks w/o kird apes will be auto DQed.

Looking forward to this very much. Actually starting signups at 10:00.
I would highly recommend getting to the store early because parking will be tricky with the farmer's market rolling in for the winter. The upside is while you're waiting for the tourney to start you can stroll out into the hallway and visit dozens upon dozens of vendors. It's quite a sight.
Of all the tournaments I ran since taking over the store in May, this is the one I'm honestly looking forward to the most. This caps the year off for tournaments that I've enjoyed running and had success with. Will be adding more things to this tournament, so stay tuned '_'

I don't know who I'm going with yet for food, but I go with whoever gives me the best deal. Free lunch is not free for me :p
You are the only person to complain about Little Caesar's (although I give you points for doing it in two different threads :p), and the pizza I used for my first couple legacy's was someone different and I had complaints, which is why I tried someplace new.
As mentioned in the other thread where you brought up the concern, I'm going to try to get the best food/deal available. No idea at this time what pizza place it will be.
If the people I went with last time (Little Caesar's) give me best deal this time, that's who I'll go with. I'm still looking around for teh right pizza... plus possibly calzones. :x
I'll do what I can to make the most people happy, but I can't please everyone.
If you end up not coming back to my events over free lunch, sorry.
