Behind the store there are numberd spaces.
Knight Ware has spaces 9, 10, and 11
but
on sundays, our neighbors are usually closed
The streets are metered but not checked on sundays
The first street to the west of us is Lankersheim Blvd..
On Lakersheim to the south there is unregulated street parking
Just west of Lankersheim (north side of the street) is an open lot that says
additional MTA parking. It does not get used much on the weekends
unless the hollywood bowl is running something and then there should be signs

It depends on attendance as that will determine how many prizes we give out
Example, at
46+ players, prizes are to top 10 and 2 randoms (12 prizes total) so that means that
1st-6th pick from either tier and 7th-10th, random 1, and random 2 pick from tier B
but if attendance is only 8-11, prizes are to top 4 so 1, 2 either tier and 3, 4 tier b
odd number of prizes will round up. (more people to tier a)
hope that helps some

Hey, I've been talking to Matt about joining you guys in the car. I'm at Caltech; can this be arranged for? I could chip in for gas.
Also, does anybody planning on attending have the following:
2 Spell pierce
2 Vexing Sphinx
2 Stoneforge mystic
1 Enlightened Tutor
2 Ethersworn Canonist
4 curfew?
Thanks.

Re: [Tournament] May 16, 2010 Los Angeles, CA Knight Ware Inc.
Where is Caltech exactly? I can talk to Supachai about picking you up. Looks like Matt bailed and changed his plans when I told him initially that we couldn't go.
I have the following from that list:
2 Spell Pierce
1 Enlightened Tutor
Depending on what Supachai plays.. he has 4 Cannonist, 2 SFM.
I might have a Sphinx.

Re: [Tournament] May 16, 2010 Los Angeles, CA Knight Ware Inc.
Vibram Five Fingers / Judge report.
Feet felt pretty good at the end of the day, but I was doing a lot more sitting than I have in the past. I would wear them again, but I am not sure if I would recomend them for someone who was standing more than I was. It was a bit difficult to walk up the ramp at the end of the day.
Lori got everything started on time, about 2:07 was when the pairings were printed. I left at 10:30. Gave out zero game losses but quite a few warnings.

-
Re: [Tournament] May 16, 2010 Los Angeles, CA Knight Ware Inc.
HAHAHA. I can't really defend myself from being called a newb.... :[ 2-4? Pssh hardly a good performance. Back to the drawing board. I took 7th the time the last time I went to Knightware. Then again I was actually playing magic. Just recently starting playing again with that tournament.
When are we having another local even at Game Empire/Artifax?
