Eh, possibly. But 6 mana is alot more than 4 mana in the matchups where you want lifegain. And an early Verdict often does more than 10 life, although at that point it's probably more or less...

Have you thought about playing Gerrard's Wisdom as a lifegain slot? I wish there was better one-shot sorcery-speed lifegain, but meh.

He's got a point guys. Clearly we can't play white removal alongside Fire/Ice in our UWr control decks. Blasphemous.

But don't you have priority when you drop Ajani, so you can add a counter before the opponent can Fireblast it?
