The card you're missing for removal is Mawloc (much better than BCG!)
GR Initiative already exists & has been featured heavily on 90smtg over the past month or so--start here:

like, do you mean links?
Maxtortion's RUG Stiflenought 4-1 (getting Delvered in r4, hilariously)

lol whut?
(Have you read Mine Collapse?? Let stay in reality and agree that Unholy Heat is only reasonable Bolts #4-6 option here
re: losing aggression: I might be on board with putting a...
lol, Fox going off the deep end. (building with Mine Collapse and Lavamancer for that imaginary future meta; durdling Saga into suicide-Dreadnought lines for that sweet sweet...
As I said, I never drew Wandering Mind and Dack happened to work out well for me in these games. I think the rise of Saga as a format staple actually makes Dack maindeckable these days, even outside...
Finally took the old General out for a spin again, in the Jeskai shell, for a little 3-0 with friends. MUs: DnT, Dark Bant, and some janky combo brew. (A while ago I did some testing vs. Doomsday...
This is not how I meant these Modern references: While mostly theorycrafting I found it useful to just see the General in action for a bit, and those play patterns not the particular card...
Sorry, I want to stop you right there. There's a substantial number of decks that have killed you by T2. Non-blue really needs meaningful T1 disruption, which is why I find JF an acceptable T1 play....
a few thoughts:
I think there are 2 different directions to take this deck: 1) creature-heavy aggressive or 2) midrange-control. Both demand vastly different play patterns and deck construction.

been watching this thread from the sidelines since the printing of the General. Good work folks, though I think we're a playable 1cmc hybrid spell away from being competitive (preferably a cantrip;...
I'm not saying this is the only change needed to turn this into a flawless deck. I actually agree with many of your points here (bad mana, bad Lazav, bad use of Scroll, etc.). But you seem to confuse...
The main lesson here is make sure there's a playset of Ponder in your blue Legacy deck.
nice, should've known that this where discussion of Ark4n's list was at.
Agree with @FTW: Standstill looked pretty bad. I could see bringing in 1-2 copies from the board in certain MUs, but MD...
Fox: glad we agree on Delver-Rager swap.
That US-DN Delirium line is hilarious but useless for flipping an early Rager (takes 3 turns), and Whale is just a super solid card that's easily supported...
In Stiflenought, the red Rager & Disapprove aka Dress Down solve our Delver flip issues:
4 Rage Channeler
1-2 Gargoyle
4 PhD
2 Brazen B
1-2 Whale / TNN
2 Scroll
2 Dress Down
Hey folks,
I consistently played UB Tempo Stiflenought between DRS ban and Oko takeover. It was totally viable even though I was a relative Legacy newbie. You just have to watch the Swords % in...
(@Fox, too) good to read some sense over here. I've already been yelling into the void about it on reddit: I mean fuck DHA from a design- and flavor perspective, but there's just no real case for...
Hey Lutrians, my "Otterbox" entry was the runner-up in the "Negator77" brewing contest put up by Brian Coval aka BoshnRoll last week. He recorded a pretty fun league with it here, enjoy:

@Albarkhane
I really like the direction here. I brewed up a fair Emry deck in UB a little while ago. Totally unproven of course, but it reliably Goldfishes into a fairly overwhelming board by...
@Rood
I came up with a list v close to yours. The variance introduced by Incinerator is offset by shaving the clunkier & conditional spells (PoP, Firecraft) for more Bolts (Skewer). Seal for Swifty...
Agree that Delver/Daze seem to be on the edge of playability with Standstill, as Sharknado bring so much more flexibility and synergy for that plan.
As for my tempo list:

@FistaCuffSmith Welcome to the Dreadtribe & welcome to Legacy. I highly recommend a deep dive into this thread; it's such a rich well of knowledge.
@Fox: Didn't you do a kind of round-up of the...
A 1000 times this.
re: Chandra's Incinerator in Burn
Seal is the replacement (please read what I'm saying); along with some number of Lavamancers, possibly. With T1 Seal none of your T2 counter scenarios apply....
