Alternately you can play more colors to get Betterblossom and the other 2 best token makers in the format: Fable and Minsc

As I recall that version didn't last long and wasn't consistent due to needing both Presence + Chalice in the opener (A+B) instead of just Glimpse. It was as weak to 1 Force (on Presence), and...
Is Embiggen +4/+4 on Glistener and Agent because of the errata to add subtype Phyrexian? If so that's busted. So long Might of Old Krosa & friends.
Did Inkmoth also gain type Phyrexian? Even if...
Good points. I haven't played anything like this in Legacy since before the new age of Uro, Saga, FoV, Grist, Prismatic Ending... I guess there's a reason why this type of strategy doesn't exist in...
Good point. Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, Sorin, Solemn Visitor and Sorin, Lord of Innistrad look like the best options because they make tokens and pump the team.
Staff may be killed but the token...
This looks fun!
A similar deck has existed for a long time in Legacy: Cheerios. Named after all the 0s in the deck. Play Glimpse, chain a bunch of Kobolds, draw your deck, play wincon.

Yeah. These points (and the math) came up earlier in this thread. That's why it's not the main plan.
3-4 Throes 2 Trickery was decided as a good compromise to go off fast and reduce the fizzle...
Does Urza's Saga help? There aren't many artifacts and the deck is mana-hungry (does not want to sacrifice lands or tap 3 lands to make a token).
Staff of the Storyteller is a powerful card engine that can use timing to get around popular hate like Narset, Parter of Veils, Faerie Mastermind and Hullbreacher. You can activate on opponent's turn...
Good points.
The plan vs Karakas was Saga -> Needle, but that may not be enough answers.
Although there's no big-mana endpoint for 22 lands, 5 of them turn into non-lands. It's really only 17...
Overall it has a lot of cards that beat Delver: Endurance, Uro, Dreadnought, basics. The one thing it's missing is cheap removal/defense at 1-2 mana. Maybe Ice-Fang Coatl?
Why not just tweak your UG build, cutting the bad stuff?
//Creatures: 14
4 Phyrexian Dreadnought
3 Ice-Fang Coatl
4 Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath
3 Endurance
//Spells: 16
11 red might work for just 3 Fury in a deck with Uro and EI to draw cards and ramp lands. 11 for both black and red, with 3 overlapping cards that are also combo payoffs (Kroxa), taxes your colors...
It's a bad card in the Dreadnought shell. That doesn't make it bad everywhere.
The combo with Drifter is still worth exploring imho. 1-hit kill with Blightsteel, Annihilate whole board with...
I had been thinking about Drifter + Worldly Tutor, but it was in a Drift & Tell shell instead of Aeon Bridge.
I think you really need Show and Tell to justify running the fatties to combo with...
Not bad for AI!
I wonder if it has some rationale for moving Chalice to the SB and maindecking Bolts, based on what Initiative decks are doing. The dragon part is a mess. Understandably it...
Good questions. I don't like that SB. It ran into some problems in those matches.
The main advantage of Faerie is you can find it with OUAT. Otherwise the usual reasons to run it don't apply...
Good point. Probably win-more.
The 1/1 blocker does a weak job of extending the game. I was comparing it to Narset, but that slot could be something else like Dress Down, Force of Negation, or a...

Imho his manabase was the problem there. He runs fewer ways to get basic Plains and many UU spells, so the mana is more dependent on nonbasics. Then you see the deck engaging in lines that are weak...

Terminus is also an option.
It's harder to set up without Brainstorm and Ponder, but you can pitch it to Solitude, hardcast it more easily (sol lands), or put it back with Jace.
Supreme Verdict...
Sanctum Prelate could be good. It helps with both combo and some control haymakers.
Prelate @ 1 would turn off Brainstorm, Ponder, Red Blast, Swords, Minor Misstep... they're stuck trying to...
