Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

True. That is why I added Deathrite Shaman. Having 8-9 Saclands is good as well.

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

I would at least play 3 Liliana and 4 Hymn to Tourach. As Qweerios said, if we want to play BW, we have to use the strongest cards of this color combination. Hymn and Liliana are (very) good in...

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

Have you played in tournaments with your list yet? Which of the most popular decks do you like to play against, which not? Why do you think so?
I'm so very interested to keep this archetype alive....

    Re: Waterfalls (RUG Cascade!)

Sartini has been playing this deck forever. But recently he removed all cascaders from his deck.

    Re: Waterfalls (RUG Cascade!)

    Three Tarmogoyf are enough.
But 4 Wastelands and only 20 lands? Does that work?
I mean I think your approach is pretty neat and looks pretty clever if you do not want to run Punishing Fire.
    I...

    Re: Waterfalls (RUG Cascade!)

I think it is too much to have both Bloodbraid as well as Shardless in one deck. You want to use the curve.

This is what I've recently tried:

    3 Misty Rainforest
    1 Wooded Foothills
    3 Scalding...
  7. Re: An Open Note to the People Who Stole $10K of Cards From Me and My Friends

That is one of the reasons why I only take my deck to bigger tournaments. Usually I really want to concentrate on playing magic and do not like to trade.

But: That is so hard. Getting all your...

Re: Local Tourney -" Robin" 4-1

This deck is really incredible. I had three consecutive Top8 performances this months. Local tourney but very competitive ones.
I've got a new sideboard since burn and U/r Delver are performing...
  9. Re: LCL 2012 - February - Abrera - 109 Players- Decklists- Player Profiles & Videos

That's true. Especially Jitte did a lot.

I guess that's him. Very rude behavior.

    Re: [deck] Grixis Tempo

Since they are all flying I guess that Jitte is a really good card in that deck. Just give it a try.
The only card that is missing in this deck is Ooze. It is really very good in today's meta.

Re: Local Tourney -" Robin" 4-1

Hm. That might be true. I guess we should not do things like that again.

Usually you should have a look at your top three if you want to play Bloodbraid. For two reasons: You want to find a very...

Re: Local Tourney -" Robin" 4-1

Yes it is. It's like 18 cards. That sometimes is not enough. But it is OK. Btw. you can cast your FoW without removing cards very soon.
    18 usually is OK.

Re: Local Tourney -" Robin" 4-1

I think you do not need Lavamancer since you have Punishing Fire. Umezawa's Jitte is in my opinion an interesting inclusion main. But I think that I do not have enough room for it. I would definitely...

    Local Tourney -" Robin" 4-1

I always wanted to give "Robin" a try.
Since Grove became cheaper due to its recent banning in Modern I just bought a playset (like 7-8 dollars a Grove). So what should I use my new Groves of the...

If I played UG, I would play Counterbalance, too.

Is there already a sideboard? It would be interesting to know.
It looks very interesting but I do not think that this deck is better than e.g. snapcaster U/R.
    What do you think?

    Re: [Deck]UWR Snapcaster Control

    I've just added four FoW.
If you look at Lightning Bolts and Engineered Explosives and see them as cards that serve multiple purposes it's not too much removal in the list.

    I mean Explosives...

    Re: [Deck]UWR Snapcaster Control

You are really sold on this single ponder, aren't you?

I know that Lavamancer and Wrath have a bit of a synergy but I play him to slow the opponent down. In some matchups I even do not board in...

Removing the cards is part of the activation cost of the ability. It's like paying the mana cost. You cannot react to it by destroying the land - so you cannot remove the cards in response to...

    Re: [Deck]UWR Snapcaster Control

Agreed on boarding in Disenchant vs. Maverick.
What do your boarding plans look like against this very deck?

I would board out Spell Snare and add 2 Wraths as well as Disenchant.
    Would you...

    Re: [Deck]UWR Snapcaster Control

    Re: [Deck]UWR Snapcaster Control

Very true. But playing a good deck AND having opponents boarding wrong is OK with me. It is not an either or decision!

Any thoughts about Ajani Vengeant? We could cut one Jace (3 is enough).
