    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

I have been saing this version is more consistent for some time. After playing both for quite some time, imo the grindier one performs better on average. There are a couple of things that, in my...

Missing one ghost quarter. Which goes also in favor of mox diamond @solnox.

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

Dryad arbor counts as a land in most situations, specially regarding mox, so I run 24 lands which is 1 bellow the optimal point for mox. A part from that I run 1 drs(with potential tutoring) and 1...

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

hello guys, My last 3 weeks have been quite impressive with this deck( for me). I won a 20 man tournament 3 weeks ago, split first place( with another depthsdeck) in a 40 man tournament last week and...

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

The card is interesting, not sire if the land advantage is worth over 3 abrupt benefits:

    - it kills any permanent like anoying creatures
    - instant speed
    - cant be countered

    However it looks...

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

I think you make some good points on why to run probe, I might try it next week. I am also wondering if someone has done the math and calculated the negative aspect of running 64 cards and 4 probes....

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

You dont need probe to tun therapy. It depends in how you know the metagame, after all most decks have very limited answers against us and you will know what to name. You also get second chances if...

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

I think this is a very important point. DRS is good if you play cabal therapy( even in this case it isnt that good), however, if you dont play therapy I would go with fast mana or try mox diamond...

Loam is something i though about the other day. Have you tried it? In paper it looks like a great 1-2of. Even better if you change petals for diamonds.

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

The deck is very good, thats a fact. But thinking you found the optimal version is naive. Here you have recent versions that have obtained very good results:

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

Because I think this version has the potential to be better. Also, what kind of question is that, if I wanted to maximize winrate I would probably play 4c control(which I do too). I do not think...

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

I will agree the drs is the most underwelming card for me, i have been thinking and I might try 3-4 mox diamond to boost the speed of the deck instead of 4 drs. It is nice to have mid-late game...

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

Both decks are completely viable and have shown very good results. I guess some people prefer a more interactive deck.(although imo bob should be in every list)

Thats the kind of version im currently playing, even with more creatures. Imo its a simple trade-off, you lose speed but become more resilient and have more answers in the main. For me its also much...

    Re: [DTB] Dark Depths

Well I think it is a card that the “best” deck(grixis) among others, have to destroy in order to win. Regarding the search for combo pieces, my impresion is that many people here(me too) run a deck...

Can you explain your reasoning behind mox diamond, wasteland? Also, do you have problems comboing? It seems like you dont have enough tutors and the strategy is more control thab combo.
