    Re: 4 Card Blind

I donít see how this works since you need to keep both DRS and ooze alive till your 3rd upkeep, which is after I threaten leathal.

    T1 dump hand 16, DRS 15
T2 attack with vine & wall, no blocks 8...

    Re: [SCD] Thran Turbine

One interesting card I hadnít considered with Thran Turbine is Mirage Mirror. By copying a sol land it basically stores the mana from turbine, and it can do the same trick as thespian stage with...
  4. Re: Kamigawa Neon Destiny - A victory lap around Netrunner

In addition to being an engine, flickering ward turns any cheap aura with flash into a protection spell.

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

A Fundamental magic theory is that combo is like aggro, but trades redundancy/resiliency for speed. In legacy pure aggro decks have a kill turn 3.5. Gaak, madness, eldrazi, burn all kill around then....

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

If pact for ooze is the back-up plan, how are we not dying to pact? Or will you just never go for that line on T1? The chances of you having 2 lands + vet + sac or 2 vet + 2 sac on T2 seems very low.

    Re: Legacy Spirits

Doing ok with the above. Rattlechains is great as CA vs the ending.dec piles, but matchups where creatures are trading it is lacklustre. It would be helpful to have a way to generate extra ca/bodies...
  9. Re: Kamigawa Neon Destiny - A victory lap around Netrunner

I think it compares pretty favourably to the 4th white producing utility land in D&T (karakas in 80 cards or canopy in 60 cards) as a 1 of.

Re: Mono Black Rip Helm Gains

The problem with IGG is that it is a lot worse with a Leyline effect than helm, but not much better than helm without one. So in any prison-like deck karn with a helm in the sideboard will be much...

I am doing better vs control decks with the extra hexproof but I am still losing a lot. Mostly postboard games or degenerate decks like oops/reanimator/8cast. Perhaps the sideboard just needs to be...

    Re: Bumbleberry Pie

I have been working on spirits and curses instead to be honest. Prismatic ending does takeaway some of the appeal of being an enchantment based blue deck but i just havenít played it much.

    It is a deck.

Paragon249 has gotten multiple 5-0s and a second place challenge finish with this deck. Why arenít we just copying him?

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

Yes we are in agreement. I was more comparing ooze to charbeltcher, but the same concept applies to hulk vs cruel bargain.

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

When you only need 5 mana instead of 7, are you really more likely to fizzle? you could be much gas dense if you needed to.

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

the thought is that if you have +3-6 cards in hand and 4-6 basics in play on t2, it is ok to ďfizzleĒ and have to pay your upkeep. That might be incorrect though.

Yes the assumption is that all the hulk stuff would be replaced by SI stuff since it works so well with ooze and cull. The assumption is the vet engine will give you enough permanent mana to pay off...
