    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

The "no plan" and "no combo" hands were keep-able to some degree.
Especially the "no combo" hands were mostly missing a pay-off spell to function. With 11 tutors in the deck they are probably...

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

I played a small local tournament, and the results were not great.

I played the list as shown here: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/_sTh75tJKUOePs2ZyTlLLg

Disclaimer: I was out sick the whole...

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

I agree with both points, 7-mana is C-plan and the Footsteps are "ok", but I should better start off with 2 Necromancy.
Next week I will give it a try at our local tournament :)
    Thanks for the...

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

Given the small sample size I am hesitant to jump to a conclusion, but a similar trend is seen in my (few) online results.
Your points are valid and very helpful, thank you!

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

This was spoiled recently and it brings some possibilites for the deck.

The combo would work as follows:
    Sacrifice Protean Hulk get...

    Re: Hatching Blessings

After a good night of sleep I would like to add some more input:

In my opinion, Witching Well would be better than Faerie Seer.
Maybe a "sub-theme" of artifacts could be used to for example with...

    Re: Hatching Blessings

    There is also Induced Amnesia.
With Amnesia you could maybe pivot away from black.

I do like Crack the Earth but I do not know if it is good enough (in this deck and in general).

    Also, I was...

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

I played in a local tournament (46 players) yesterday finishing 3-2-1 (realistically 3-3) after a bad start with M1: 1-1-1, M2: 0-2, M3: 1-2. I know that when starting with a bad score it is more...

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

I found 2 new Hulk kills I want to share with you.
They both are unfortunately not better than the current version of the deck nor the Thassa's Oracle win.

    1. Hulk dies, get: Necrotic Ooze,...

New updates: Wishclaw Talisman finally made it into the deck after everyone was saying the deck needs good tutors :)

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

For those of you who are still interested in the deck or want to contribute, I currently have 3 open points: 1. Hulk package considerations, 2. Decklist updates, 3. Sideboard discussion.

    1. Hulk...

    Some updates to the list:

Returned to the Cauldron Familiar hulk package because it is better with other recent changes to the list (see below).

I trimmed down to 1 Carrion Feeder and 1...

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

I can see the benefits of Eladamri's Vineyard and it looks great on paper. I am still hesitant because of the downside of giving your opponent GG before you can do anything with the mana. Squandered...

For example Blisterpod was on one of my early lists for a Culling the Weak+Veteran Explorer style decks, but it was not great and too cute.
  17. Re: New Reanimator Combo - Kairi, the Swirling Sky (NEO)

You are right, World Gorger is kind of similar and we could adapt elements from those lists.

For now I will be using this list as starting point for maximal redundancy to see if the combo at least...

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

By "...probably do that better" you mean fixing green? If so, you are right.

The deck walks hard into losing to FoW anyway  nah, but seriously, Squandered Resources is mainly interesting...
  19. Re: New Reanimator Combo - Kairi, the Swirling Sky (NEO)

At first it looks like Tin Fins with extra hoops to jump through, as pointed out by Arcanis as well, and I totally agree with that.
However, if we take a closer look it might hold some...

I am evaluating if Squandered Resources could be a possible addition to the deck.

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

Yes, Reveillark line gets 2x Carrion Feeder into play, but Vesperlark gets up to 4x Carrion Feeder into play, making it very unlikely to be blown out by spot removal. 2 spot removal however, is more...
