    Re: [Deck]Skilled Maniac

It is very good with counterbalance and terminus. Maybe that's the reason your list cannot optimize it's full value. It's only one card, with very little downsides compare to the possible benefits...

How should this work? I don't get it. You will end up with only oracle in your hand e.g. Lash has CMC 4

Re: Winter is Coming - Echo combo

I tried the build at the Legacy FNM in our LGS last weekend (without knowing about this thread on source). Fun to play, but the combo needs some time so finally kill and has a pretty high fizzle rate...

if you want to go this route: dryad arbor, land grant, reverent silence & nature's claim have some synergies imho (inkl. the new green force of vigor).

Thx for the example. But I don't get it. Maybe I miss something.

Your example starting with RRRRRR (no RoF in gy) --> RRR + card from Gamble (imho PiF) in gy or maybe hand (if I start with more...

Unfortunately only the kicker is 5R, so in total it would be 7RR for 20 iirc.

    Re: [Primer] +Manaless Dredge+

That's correct. The 85% is with 8 cards drawn @12 dredgers.
Btw. 7+6 means combined probability of draw 7 & mulligan to 6 (only mulligan if no dredger is in the first 7, without scry - this was no...

    Re: [Primer] +Manaless Dredge+

I have read the discussion about how many dredgers the deck needs and so on. Some years ago I made some calcs for me, maybe they help someone else too to get to the right number of dredgers in their...

Why aren't you maxing out Rite of Flames in your MDs?

Imho it's the best ritual to start the combo or for a quick T1 ruby. I have never had the intention to wish for it till now. I my list the...

How do you support FoW with that low blue count? I really have had problems with 16 blue cards in the total 75.

Has it worked out for you?

Only 14 iirc. Typically we are between 12 and 20 players at our weekly Legacy FNMs. I will try to reach out for the other Ruby player.

I really have no clue why you run such a main deck of 4-offs only. Maybe you can explain? If it is a kind of style thing - I can understand.

    Re: [DTB] Dark Depths

I have tested and played it a lot in the early days (1-2 in the SB). It performs well if you reach sufficient mana early. This can be hard e.g. against D&T. But it also can be very awkward with some...

    Re: [Primer] +Manaless Dredge+

If you really what to use FoW out of the board, you have to maximize the blue card count in the deck. In that situation Gitaxian probe is a must imho.
