    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

That's what I think. My GB list always had a scrubland so that I can play the best combo hate available in the side: canonist and teeg.

White was the best color during the eldrazi winter, thanks...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

Yes, that's exactly the reason why. Hell, batterskull cost 17 tix some days ago, and I remember it being a 36+ tix card. Kommand is probably one of the reasons the SFM hype died out pretty quickly...

    [Primer] Nic Fit

That's the reason I said I want the Dino against miracles and not pile! For this very reason I consider him a sideboard card.
At 6 mana it is not the finisher I want against delver to be honest..

Raptor isn't worth for similar reasons rhino isn't worth. And it's conditional.
I abandoned meren long ago and never looked back: this is Drs.format, a singleton 4 mana legend that most of the...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

And the first two are insane right now. They are my 2 big creatures in my BG list, decks like pile can't really handle those two easily, especially in game 1.
Meanwhile rhino gets pushed and walled...

What's the thought process behind the decision to play dovescape over nether void? Is the latter too soft of a lock compared to the first one in your experience?

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

If you think that starfield is a sideboard card, then it's intuitive that cast out becomes mediocre at best.
Starfield is here (I think? I'm the noob..) not only for the enchantment hate, but to buy...

It is a curse! Magic online doesn't make mistakes (most of the time :D)! I agree on the cast out bit.

I don't know if this deck is the moral successor to sneak fit, but today I beat miracle and...

Sorry for the double post, but this deck is intriguing me and I have been playing seriously with it today for the first time.

Why don't we go for the max consistency route? (22 lands + 1 arbor), 4...

Cruel reality to me seems a sb card that gives protection against big cheaty guys like emrakul or planeswalkers like jace. In all the other match ups the other bombs seem enough.

In my brief experience with the deck this is what I'm thinking. I often feel "unprotected" against what the opponent is doing, because he is doing it faster than I'm assembling my pieces. This may be...

Talking about removal in Nyx Fit, have you ever tried innocent blood? Ramps with explorer, acts as an additional rector sacrificer, deals potentially with TNN, gurmags and griselbrands.

This right here is the main trap of BUG. I was excited to try to play Jace in Nic Fit, but he is not worth it at all: not only we can't protect him, but in sideboard games everyone is going to have...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

This sums it up perfectly, and it's the reason I abandoned BUG colors. Without real counterspells/cantrips this isn't a real blue deck, but a (although very, very grindy) midrange deck that struggles...

    Re: [SCD] Bontu's Last Reckoning

To add to this, if you're playing a deck that drags things out you can't play a lot of deluges, because the life total is going to be probably under some stress already. BLR acts like an additional...

I have played rotation in the past, and I still think that in the right shell it's a nice card to have if you build around it, but I have to say that your analysis is spot on and was a nice read....
