Sticky: Poll: Re: All B/R update speculation.

That's kind of my overall gripe with the game in general.

In the early years, they kind of just made random cards without any overall theme and left the players to build decks using whatever...

Sticky: Poll: Re: All B/R update speculation.

When you make arguments to "score points" rather than have a genuine debate, it is rather pointless isn't it? No one is talking about Mirage fetches other than to say they are the historical...

Sticky: Poll: Re: All B/R update speculation.

I can't understand what you wrote here.

Who said anything about Mirage fetches?
  4. Re: [40k] Cards for the card game: 40k spoilers ITT

Throw in some Young Peezies for good measure.
  5. Re: [40k] Cards for the card game: 40k spoilers ITT

If Squad was actual Storm then it could be a little bit easier to pull that off.

Sticky: Poll: Re: All B/R update speculation.

Hit the nail on the head. This is all that needs to be said on the subject. Don't like fetches? They already banned them in Pioneer. Have at it.
  7. Re: [DMU] Dominaria United: Reunited and it Feels So Good!

There isn't a lot of Grixis being played since white removal is better. Competes with Fatal Push, Murderous Cut, Snuff Out, and Sudden Edict. Has the added bonus of destroying Planeswalkers but...
  8. Re: [DMU] Dominaria United: Reunited and it Feels So Good!

Doesn't even make the cut in Modern Reanimator. Thoroughly outclassed by Priest of Fell Rights, Persist, and Unburial Rights.

There isn't a Reanimator deck in Pioneer and Explorer to speak of...
  9. Re: [DMU] Dominaria United: Reunited and it Feels So Good!

Limited play is the primary factor in determining rarity.
  10. Re: [DMU] Dominaria United: Reunited and it Feels So Good!

Pretty fun card for the Hardened Scales decks in Modern/Pioneer/Explorer.
  11. Re: [DMU] Dominaria United: Reunited and it Feels So Good!

Seems not too great in Legacy Ancient Tomb strategies since you'll be nuking your own board as well.

Re: [Deck] W/x Parfait (Tax/Rack Control)

So at what point in moving away from Scroll/Tax/Mox are you just better off building Mono White Stompy? Chalice isn't as good as it was pre P-Ending but its better than the 1 drops in Fox's list,...
  13. Re: [DMU] Dominaria United: Reunited and it Feels So Good!

The days of a 2 CMC French Vanilla 5/3 (at best) are long gone in Modern let alone Legacy. They could print it as an unconditional 5/3 and it still would see zero play. I don't even think it will...

Re: [Deck] W/x Parfait (Tax/Rack Control)

Don't get me wrong, its not like its suddenly a competitive deck with those changes but if you're going to play Scroll/Tax you may as well optimize the list. To be fair to Bosh, he plays what the...

Re: [Deck] W/x Parfait (Tax/Rack Control)

I watched Bosh's video. His build should have added Urza's Saga and include Zuran Orb and Shriekhorn in the package. Saga and Orb can guarantee you trigger Land Tax. Horn can mill your crappy...

Re: [Deck] Eva Green - B/g suicide

B/G will always be my favorite deck!

Since you have so many off-color lands, I think you should play at least one Urborg.

Nighthawk isn't playable to me. It can block Murktide but its just...
  17. Re: [DMU] Dominaria United: Reunited and it Feels So Good!

The Jaya planeswalker seems somewhat comparable in power-level to Chandra TOD
  18. Re: First legacy deck - Izzet Delver budget, need reviews

@FTW I missed that Prairie Stream had basic land types so the way you set it up also makes sense. I suggested Spell Pierce because sometimes you need to sneak in double spells but Dovin's Veto may...
  19. Re: First legacy deck - Izzet Delver budget, need reviews

I would remove Prairie Stream for Colonnade instead of Fortress. Also remove Ash Barrens for Hengegate Pathway and drop Brainstorm for more Ponders and Preordains since you don't have enough...
  20. Re: First legacy deck - Izzet Delver budget, need reviews

Sol Ring isn't that amazing in Spirits since most of the cards have heavy color requirements but T2 Collected Company is juicy if you play UG or Bant. If you want a Sol Ring deck look at these for...
  21. Re: First legacy deck - Izzet Delver budget, need reviews

That's definitely true. I was going to recommend he make a build with Preordains and Counter Spell / Spell Pierce / Spell Snare in place of Brainstorm and FOW. I'd also suggest looking at cards...
  22. Re: First legacy deck - Izzet Delver budget, need reviews

This sounds like a casual play group looking to have fun.

I would strongly recommend against creating a "banned" deck that plays full sets of cards that are not fully legal in any 60 card...
  23. Re: [Primer] Six Shades of Dressnought aka Vaka-Nought

I'd imagine Mindtwist, if played at all, would be played by Tomb / Ritual decks. I don't see it making fair non-blue any more playable.
  24. Re: [Primer] Six Shades of Dressnought aka Vaka-Nought

I was thinking they are going to beef up The Rock archetype next. Some time of value creatures/spells that will slot in.

Yeah...Delve...why do they keep printing that type of card. I guess I...
  25. Re: [Primer] Six Shades of Dressnought aka Vaka-Nought

I have a suspicion MH3 will be printing some busted Black and Green cards much the same way MH2 made UR tempo a real archetype in Modern. Maybe they'll print a 2 CMC creature that unearths on...
