Not enough love for me in this thread. Josh Ciccio missed out on top8, it was the following:
1. Geoff "Ninja Cuts" (konsultant) Ubw Landstill
2. James "Pact of Negation... My Dark Ritual?" (Unregged) ANT
3/4. Jared "This Is Me" (Jaynel) Gbwr Survival
3/4. Paul "I Frown Upon Marijuana Use" (PTPaul) EPIC Painter
5-8. Rick "I Don't Ever Play Magic" (Jander) UW Control
5-8. Bryant "Guys, Mystical Tutor Isn't Even Good" (Bryant Cook) TES
5-8. Jeremy "Please Don't Knock Me Out of Top 8, Jared" (KillemallCFH) MUC
5-8. Mike "LOL DUBS EE" (rockout) Ubw Landstill
I had a lot of fun today, very good crowd and great atmosphere as always. Cheers.

Was it the same UW control as the one which won the Meandeck event? They have the Mulldrifters in common, at least.
SummenSaugen: well, I use Chaos Orb, Animate Artifact, and Dance of Many to make the table we're playing on my chaos orb token
SummenSaugen: then I flip it over and crush my opponent
Rick Argiro is Jander's real name.
I had some pretty good luck today, that and the landstill list I have together is really solid against almost everything. I only lost one game throughout the entire day to Jaynel in round 4 on a very shaky hand that I choose not to mull.
Good tournament, run very well as usual.

"Just hulk your way there."
" It's your fault I lost, because YOU didn't have force of will"
4 Legged freaks, back in action!!!
Your one and only freak, SpiderFreak!
TEAM: Left Field. Wining with cards that make you go " What the f**k!!!"
Just got home after the longest drive through unplowed snow..
A few summaries:
- Great Tournament..Props to Off the Wall!
- Finally met Sims after about 5 years of us both sketching out on tournaments
- Met many cool other people that I only know from these boards
- Tariq (spiderfreak) almost screwed up Bryant and my Top 8 slots
- Mulldrifter and Dismantling Blow!
- Bryant gives great road head
- Fuck driving home for 5 hours in 2 feet of snow
- Hell yeah 3/4 Syracuse players making top 8
I don't know his exact list but there were some difference's that I saw.
Just to throw this out there since I probably won't here the end of it, yes I was only running 3X Brainstorm and no it wasn't a mistake. I brought this up before in the landstill thread and it will probably be coming up in there again.
Props to Spiderfreak for not losing a round with F2K9 even though you didn't make top 8.

Im really sry. I wanted to go to this but snow killed me. Im glad you guys got such a good attendance. Maybe next time.
Call me Ishmael
Top 8 lists will go up tomorrow. It was awesome to see a diverse top 4. Survival, landstill, Painter, and AnT.
Thank you very much to everyone that came out for the event. I hope you all had a great time.
So... what won? In what order? I saw a list of first names with poor descriptions of deck lists of the top 8 members, but I can't make that into an intelligible list.
Help?
Geoff won using Landstill
James White 2nd using BUW Tendrils combo
PTPaul (Paul S) 3rd using UB painter combo
Jared Lefkowicz 4th using survival.
Gunna be brief. This tournament, even though I did poorly, was a blast as the OffTheWall events typically are. I played Burning Tog and after a promising round one, fell victim to seeing 10+ lands in both games of round 2, and my deck flatly not helping me draw well in round 3. Made it to the Top4 of the Free Single Elim side event (first and second god a Sea) and was knocked out by my friend and car-mate that I had loaned some cards to. Thems the breaks. I'll snap out of this and actually get out of my rut at Hadley events. But who cares, I got to finally meet Rick after 5 damned years.
Props:
-Rick! He and I were actually at the same event!
-OTW for always being a great store and having good prices on a lot of stuff.
-Kevin for indulging my urge to offload bulk and put the credit towards finishing one of my decks.
-James White for making a few play mistakes but top 8ing his second larger legacy event in 2 weeks.
-Gary (mallsecurityguard) for at least getting some side event prize, as well as Farrell (Albplayer), whom was still playing for the other Sea when I left.
-Albany itself, we had 8 players at the event, which is the first time we've been that numerous in a while
-Shane for deciding after losing to his own manabase that he'd go out and sleep in the car. Who sleeps in the car when it's 10 degrees outside?
Slops:
-Weather. Seriously sucked getting back into NY.
-My deck for shitting on me in the main event and then firing on all cylinders in the side event. Meh.
-Myself, for playing Goyf Sligh instead of being a man and playing Wildfire.
-Colleges for having their sports teams pull right up to the rest stop as we're trying to get food. Suddenly being crowded by a hockey team is not legit.
-Zach Tartell, cause you should have been there.
Team Albany: What's Legacy?
You cannot know the sweetness of Victory, without first dwelling in the agony of Defeat.
I guess I should do some slops and props as well:
Slops:
Mass & CT drivers not knowing how to drive in the snow
Scrubbing in the top 8 of another tournament.
Team Awesome not showing up in force.
Getting laughed at during the TES match - You never want to give the TES player three cards...?
Props:
Calzones at Primo Pizzeria near Hadley
Making top 8
Ripping cards all day thanks to my foil Riddle of Lightning
Kevin for getting married and holding a great tournament
Vindicate and Spell Snare being good enough to get there
Geoff for allowing me to steal his list ... sort of
Friendly people and faces
Meh. I was too busy not playing Magic up in Watertown. Or almost dying in stupid winter weather (I had a poor experience coming back from a Mana Drain Open event a couple years ago where my considerable weight was the only thing standing between Jim, Abold, and I dying in a firey, snowy car crash in the middle of rural Syracuse).

Looks like this tournament was more of a fan night for me then anything else. Seeing that Rick and Geoff are some of my favorite legacy players. Of course I am thinking about adding Jaynel to the list as well since I like his game.
