This is planed to be a monthly or bimonthly event for the shop. CCG House has been an online juggernaut for some years now and recently opened their doors to tournaments roughly 6 months ago. Free Standard every Friday with a $50 cash pool, taking nothing in and $10 Drafts on Tuesdays. I'm not exactly sure why they do it but when I inquired they said, "For the love of the game." Similarly, they will give good support for this tournament regardless of attendance. If 10 people show up it will be roughly a $100 cash pool and will only go up from there. Please show up and have a great time with these awesome people.

I have had a bad experience interacting with CCG house in the past. Your mileage may differ of course, but allow me to recount my experience. It was originally posted here:

I should contrast this to other retailers, such as Troll and Toad and Star City, who have sent orders even when made right before the price went up.When the whole Painter's Servant combo broke, I set out to order some Painter's Servants. So, I looked around and saw who had the best prices. They were mostly at a dollar or so each. I put in a preorder from ccghouse.com, 16 Painters for 99 cents each, plus Shipping and Handling.
I got the package yesterday. It was a yellow envelope sent via USPS, and it contained only my order slip. Not a single card. Just the packing slip.
I called and they insisted that because the price went up they would be unwilling to send me the cards again. They said that the only thing they could do was refund my order.
So, I have no recourse. I purchased something, and did not receive it.
And I wanted everyone else on here to know of my experience.

So, for all I know this tournament may be legitimate. But I feel it fair to give warning to anyone considering attending this event of their business practices.
Under the Washington Uniform Commercial Code (RCW 62A), if you paid them (such as through a creditor, like Visa) and they failed to complete your order, they broke the law and you're entitled to remedies. If you had the right consitution / attitude, you could have sent them all manner of menacing legal threats and they might have caved, Rich. That said, it sucks and you don't need a lawyer to file a small claim, but it's probably not worth your time and energy.
About this tournament, I haven't played in one since SCG Seattle (back in June), where I had a really crappy (2-3) run with U/b/r Faeries and I'm stoked about this.
I'll be there and I hope others can make it too.
Would love to come to these regularly but unfortunately I can't. However I can try to make it to this first one and hopefully any others over the holidays. I really want legacy to pick up in the northwest.
So, who else in the Portland / Vancouver area can make this?
I don't live in Portland but I might be able to make it. I have some friends that are planning on going to vancouver to see family and friends. There is a chance that I could be tagging along with them. The deck I would probably play would be vorosh thresh by Bardo which seems like a decent choice right now to be honest.
I am in town and should definitely be able to make this. Unless there is some family event that pops up, I'm there.
I guess I'll be playing that outdated Survival deck. Haven't played Bant Survival since before Iona even came out. Legacy has changed... a lot.
We had decent attendance at 16 for this kick off event. Top 2 split was Goblins and Charbelcher, with Aggro Loam and New Horizons taking 3rd and 4th.
CCGHouse has informed me and everyone in attendance that this is going to actually be a weekly thing there on Saturdays at 1:00. So December 4th at 1:00 will be there next Legacy $5 tournament.
Anyone going to this tomorrow? Are these still weekly?
