    Legacy near Seminole/Tampa/St Petersburg FL

I live in Seminole and I am curious if anyone in the area knows of anywhere to play legacy the only place I found was a small card shop on park blvd, and they said most people play standard they don't get many legacy players. Just was curious if I am the only poster from this area.. I kind of miss the northern va area considering there were tons of legacy players.

Check out Armada Games, it is a game shop located in Tampa near USF. They hold legacy tournaments at 7pm on saturdays, depending on the turnout. This past saturday I drove over there, and there wasn't a tournament, but evidently it was because 4-5 of their regular legacy players attended the GP in providence.

I'll be going over again this saturday, hopefully there will be enough people to have a small legacy tourney, hope to see u there.

There is also a shop in Dunedin called Birds of Paradise Games. I went to a legacy tournament there in march, and they held another in april. I spoke to the owner a week ago about legacy and she said they will try to organize more legacy events in the future.

Check the websites of both these places from time to time, they post event schedules.

Great turnout this saturday at Armada Games, 16 player legacy tournament last night. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many people on the sign up sheet, especially after last weekend.

Nice mix of decks also; painter/stone, rock, landstill, sui black, dredge, stiflenaught, NO homebrew, and many others I didn't get a chance to see.

I'll be heading over again next weekend, hopefully more local Florida players can make it there.

If I get off work early enough I will try to make it to the next one.

I remember when my family used to take vacations down to St. Petersburg and there was some store at John's Pass Village and Boardwalk. I haven't been there in years though. The one time I went, their website said Standard, but when I showed up with my Standard deck, they were actually running a draft and had started an hour early. So I treated myself to some DeLosa's pizza and some ice cream.
