    thx!
That's the goal of the app! :-)

Re: [MTG Android App] MTG Wishlist

I used this app heavily last weekend at GP Providence. My impressions:

    Pros:
-Works exactly as advertised. I had access to most common prices no matter what the internet conditions were like once I loaded them up.
-If I didn't have a card added to my list, the interface made it far quicker to add a card to the list and look up its price then browsing around TCGPlayer. Then I had that price ready for the whole rest of the day.

Cons (either observed by myself or other floor traders)
-No SCG prices. A minor quibble; I'm well aware of the technical limitations there.
-TCGPlayer prices for foils felt kind of squirrely; I think it's computed from the average of the foils (so the equivalent of TCG-mid) but couldn't be sure.
-Information overkill: I personally don't need to fetch or display a price from every site out there, just mainly the big 2 or 3 most people use. Allow us to filter out the other data or just not pull it.
-Allow the ability to transfer the data to the SD card. Towards the end if the day, the app was using nearly 100MB of onboard storage which starting causing other problems (I'm on an EVO so it might be a little dated but still). Choosing "Move to SD Card" did not change the data usage. Recommend either being able to move data to SD card or reduce data usage (does it all come from the pics?)

Overall, the storage use thing was the only deal-breaker to me and I would still use it in the future and have recommended it to others.

using this app last weeks and I have to agree on this review.

voting for this hint: to choose what stores I want to pull

but, overall - great app! Thanks for it! Thinking about upgrading to PRO version.

Many thanks for your feedback (I hope to see your ratings on Google play too! ).

-SCG is not really a technical limitation, but a business decision. I could "steal" their prices, but they've already stated that they don't want to share the prices and I'm respecting it. I use to include stores only when they want or when they don't answer, in this case the answer was a big NO. :-(
-I can study a way to choose the stores to be displayed. In this case the only constraint is the partnership with stores, they like to be present and maybe they don't like to be hidden. But I'll try to provide a solution for this. It probably would reduce data traffic a little.
-TCG Player foil prices are directly returned by them, if you find any issues, let me know in detail and I'll forward the issues to them.
-I don't have a device with SD so I couldn't test it, but as far as I know, you should be able to move the app to the SD without issues. The big amount of data come from pictures, may I ask you the amount of cards you've added to the list? you can disable pictures in the settings menu, that will probably reduce the size of the app (and data traffic usage). Each picture should be around 200k...The base app should be around 10mb (+20k cards available offline).

Only solution I can see here is to allow downloading the pictures but without storing them, this would let the app be smaller, but quite slower due to the large amount of downloads to be done.
I suggest you to try disabling images and letting me know if the issue persists.

Thanks again for your review, please, contact me for every issue you find or feature you would like to have. We're here to help you!
Hope to seeing your 5 starts on Google Play!!

Is there anyway to pull the prices from here, they are Star City's prices.

Is there a card scanner to scan cards and auto look up prices

    Hey,

at the moment we're not pulling price from Ark42 site. We try to include store prices of interested stores. Unfortunately SCG don't want to share their prices.

Regarding the card scanner, is something we can study to include, even if it will be difficult.

Have you tried the app btw?

Hey Ivank! Love the app, rated it 5 stars on Google play too =). It's fantastic, especially the rules section. I do have a request though - is there a possibility for a goldfishing add-on? So I can solitaire a magic deck on my phone? That would be the best. Anyway, great app. Thanks for making it.

    Thanks for the rate!

I'm not sure about what you're looking for. A graphic play-engine as MWS would be a pain and it's really out of scope. If you're looking for a random hand-generator based on a stored list which only would list the cards... that is something we could add in the future. Tell us :-)
