So I almost never post on this forum anymore but I kinda want to exhume this thread and hope that Lejay will see it and gives out some advices. I don't even know if he still plays/come here.
I have got 3 5-0s and a 5-3 finish in the last Showcase on MTGO with a straight Mono U list. Pretty stock list.
You can see my list here: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/player/-jax-
In the past months the list got popular again with a green splash for Veil of Summer and Coatl, it dit quite well in Challenges and then people stopped playing it into the Breach hype.
I didnt tried the green splash too much, I went straight for the Mono U list for some reasons:
-Veil of Summer doesnt improve the Delver matchup that much.
-Veil of Summer is pretty useless vs the Chalice decks that are very popular in the current meta
-Veil of Summer is pretty useless vs Breach
Coatl is also pretty slow and bad. I think its a pretty bad card in this deck.
Im also on the Boseiju plan vs control, I think its insanely good.
The graveyard hate is mostly for Breach, but they are also on a Mentor plan post board, so idk. The matchup felt pretty good overall.
Im out of the Fireminds + Ants plan.
My win condition is Shared Summons 90% of the time. Maybe this is wrong but I have found that the situations were you lose because you cant win at instant speed are pretty rare, and this happens only in some matchups that arent even that much popular right now.
Right now im trying to find a way to improve the Delver matchup. I feel like its by far the worst and im basically only losing to it.
I dont think that the UB version for discards is good in this economy of Veil of Summers.
Im totally open to spalsh a colour but it needs a very good reason, I think thar Veil was over hyped in this deck and its utility compared to the flexbility of cards like Spell pierce is quite marginal.
Hopefully I'll trigger Lejay or some other experienced player around.
This deck is really really good right now, just needs some proficient tuning.
I've been wanting to run a version with Enter the Infinite and Dream Halls for awhile now, but I don't know what the fuck I'm doing.
@ Jax
Like the looks of your list. Never been a fan of lotus petals in the shell. A big part of beating Delver is having lands in play. Also you have to realize Delver is and will always be in the top 3 worst matches. Anything great or inspiring Lejay could say has already been said. Not being rude or anything, just a lot of what you want is already in the thread.
Also Narset just shuts down Enter/Dream Halls. If it’s not big In your meta/local meta,it’s playable. I’m not saying it is or isn’t the best option, but playable.
@jax sorry for noob question but how do you resolve shared summons against control after you tapped boseiju for s&t? Are you waiting a turn?
Play Fae of Wishes in place of cunnning wish. Its wonderful against delver, and this match up is positive for me.
So any chance this will be our new toy? http://mythicspoiler.com/c20/cards/b...ofthetide.html
Added to Decks to Beat. While this thread is for MonoBlue Omni, it is the closest we have to the sort of UG Omni that has been doing well.

Hey there folks,
What's the general opinión about including at least one Eureka in the SB?
Also, Mystic Sanctuary is really strong in this deck, but it has no sinergy with the Ice-Fang Coatl/Prismatic Vista/Snow-Covered lands build. Maybe including a Sanctuary instead a Snow-Covered Island would do the trick?
Stay safe!

There are lists running one Eureka main.
If you have it, do it.
It dodges Sanctum Prelate for 3 and survives surgical on your SaT.
Single Mystic Sanctuary is quite common in Ug Omni lists, I think.
This deck has been putting up numbers. But there's no comments for a year?
Agree, I think the deck has been putting up some results lately.
I just purchased most of the pieces in real life.
1) What are player playing UG Omnitell or UW Omnitell?
(Cannot afford Eureka in real life tho)
2) What are peoples decklist and card choices reasoning?
The biggest streamer/player I can see testing the deck is Nathan Lipetz who is a fan of UW Omnitell.
He even has his own primer the below twitch site.
https://www.twitch.tv/nathanlipetz/about
Will post my thoughts when I get a chance.
I've been using UW Omnitell. Teferi is GG for them.
Also, I get to bring in swords to plowshares. Green doesn't really have spot removal and you are relying on the power of Veil.
I understand you don't have an out if someone surgicals your show and tell, but you can save it with mystic sanctuary.
Just wondering what your card changes/choices would be and why.
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn - standard win con
2 Venser, Shaper Savant - standard win con
4 Teferi, Time Raveler - Must counter card or opponent cannot interact when you combo off
4 Brainstorm - standard cantrip
4 Ponder - standard cantrip
4 Preordain - standard cantrip but I want to get rid of
4 Sea Gate Restoration - think it is good utility card land or draw spells. (also allows you to have less lands)
4 Show and Tell - part of combo
4 Cunning Wish - part of combo
4 Force of Will - must have counters
4 Impulse - I prefer over preordain, I know it is more expensive but I like playing at instant speed. (refer card thoughts)
4 Omniscience - part of combo
2 Crystal Vein
4 Flooded Strand
1 Karakas
4 Prismatic Vista
5 Snow-Covered Island
1 Snow-Covered Plains
What are peoples thoughts on:
Lotus petal - I haven't tested enough but I don't think it is good. I understand you can combo on turn 1 or 2 but it requires you to have a perfect opening hand.
Ancient tomb - I don't like the life loss
City of traitors - I think it is a bad card as it can be awkward, I rather play Crystal Vein.
Creatures considerations (all have flash which you can replace the preordain and hold up instant cantrips):
Vendilion Clique
Brazen Borrower
Hullbreacher
Okay. Well, petal and city may seem like bad cards, but in a combo deck with force of will, there are scenarios where you can turn one an omniscience with force of will backup thanks to 1x of each of those cards. That alone will often garner an extended hand game 1. I disagree with you completely.

I checked out the primer. I feel like how is that a superior version? When the match up percentages that were good went down. I do like the looks of Teferi. The primer just made me feel like I would be sacrificing a lot just to make one of the worst match ups better/winnable.
