    Only lost once to a dredge player, in round 5, and even with deathrite, he was too fast for the little elf, i lost 1-2. The other decks were much more manageable.

    Won against R1: Reanimator (2-1), R2: Sneak and Show (2-1), R3:BUG Delver (2-0), R4:Elves (2-0), R6:Miracles (2-0), Top 8: RUG Delver (2-0), Top 4: Sneak and Show (2-0), Final: Esperblade (2-1)

    This deck is so powerfull, even without sideboard. I won every first game of all matches, showing that the deck doesn't require the sideboard to win against any other deck!
    Awesome! Any changes you would make to the list, or was it perfect? I am a little concerned about not taking Spell Pierce into a tournament, but who knows it could be correct to do.

    Hey man!

    The main deck was pretty good, i don't think that any card would have been better than those 60.

    But the sideborad, i kindda disliked clique. i don't know, maybe i didn't play enough matches that it could really shine. The second ancient grudge is also something that i'm thinking about. Maybe cut a clique for a Spell Pierce and the grudge for a Graffdigger's Cage, but i would have to test!

    Guys, what are your thoughts on having meddling mage on the sb? for combo match ups, but also against other archetypes, i don't know

    it can be cast using the shaman, and also maybe adding a tundra to the sb as well

    The sb would look something like this:

    Guys, I'm currently playing the 3trop,2volcanic,1see version. WHat is the best swipper for the current meta?

    *** Eletrickery

    I'm gonna bring them out in basically Goblin, Elves, D&T and Pyromancer decks.
    I figured that Golgari Charm might be the best fit. However, I'm really concerned if i;m gonna be able to cast reliably due to the 01 black land.

    charm because TNN is a thing again, and also it can destroy a sneak attack or blood moon, and fire covenant because it can virtually kill everything the opponent has, a delver, a shaman, or even a tarmogoyf if you are willing to pay the life for that!

    I think silviawataru was trying this on MODO and having good results, but it was more like:

    You should try Sudden Demise, but I have had tons of games where Fire Covenant was a beast. Here is my sideboard currently:

    2 Pyroblast
    2 Flusterstorm
    2 Grafdigger's Cage
    2 Golgari Charm
    2 Submerge
    1 Fore Covenant
    1 Pithing Needle
    1 Ancient Grudge
    1 Vendilion Clique
    1 Life from the Loam

    I am fairly confident in this sideboard, but I might also cut a flusterstorm or submerge for something else. G Charm and Fire Covenant are just so dirty vs small creature decks, today I killed like 7 Elves with Fire Covenant.

    It is still working fine,, but there is always room for improvement!

    Maybe cutting a fetch for the 3rd Tropical, if the deck needs one more green source!

    The Miracles and enchantress games were super close int he latest, with the Miracles player finding 2 Terminus on critical late-game turns where I had established Nemesi and a winning combo of DRS and Goyf. I think I need more Miracles hate in my sideboard for the online metagame, it is super frustrating losing to them.

    Speaking of frustrating, how does anyone expect to win with Enchantress on MODO? Where are all the storm players keeping people like that in their place? I am salty about that one.

    I wouldn't be too salty about Enchantress - I've always found its Delver matchups to be between even and favorable.

    Hey Guys,

    I want to play RUG Delver, because i love the Deck, but with the upside from the Deathrite Shaman and the Abrupt Decay, to reduce the weakness of RUG. Also i love to punish opponents Fetchlands with Stifle. So the Maindeck-Spells are really straight for me. The hardest decision is which creatures are good enough for the Deck. Besides the full playset of Delver of Secrets and DRS are so many creature, that are playable (Goyf, Pyromancer, Snapcaster, Gurmag Angler, TNN, Goose and so on). I think, that the requirement to the chosen creature ist to be good against spot removal und to be a solid clock. So I choose the True Name Nemesis and Gurmag Angler. The True-Name Nemesis is better than the good old Goose, because it dont rely on the GY. Also the Goose isnt a good clock until the GY reach ***** (T'R'E'S'H ?? why its censored?). Often its on Turn 3 or 4. The TNN enters often the Ground on turn 3 with Counterbackup because of DRS. Also it can block batterskull like a boss and doesnt care about opponents Creatures. Against lands it ignorers Maze of ith, wich is a popular deck in my meta. The 2nd Creature that i choose is Gurmag angler over the tarmogoyf, because it cant be destroyed by abrupt decay. Also a resolved Gurmag Angler isnt punished by Rest in Peace.

    My Maindeck looks like this:

    The Sylvan Library is to improve the Miracles Matchup also in Game 1. The Manabase is under development. I'm not sure uf 19 or 18 Lands are bette, but i think there have to a be 7th dual in it, to make it more difficult to cut up from a color, if both Useas or Volcanics get wasted. Actually i test the Badlands, but Taiga, USea, Trop or Volcanic are playable.

    The Sideboard is very flexible, because of the four colours. I'm testing this:
    Sideboard (15 Karten)
    2 Flusterstorm ( Storm, Snt )
    2 Pyroblast ( Storm, Snt, Miracle, Mirror, Shardless)
    2 Submerge ( Mirror, Shardless, Rug, Elves, Nic Fit, Maverick)
    2 Fire Covenant (Swarm Aggro, Maverick, Tribes, Dnt)
    1 Ancient Grudge (Blade Decks, MUD, Affinity)
    1 Dread of Night (in my meta are many DnT, only i play LftL)
    1 Surgical Extraction (Snt, Dredge, Reanimator, Storm, Lands)
    1 Nihil Spellbomb ( Dredge, Reanimator, Lands)
    1 Grafdigger's Cage ( Elves, Storm Past in Flames)
    1 Vendilion Clique ( Control, Storm )
    1 Golgari Charm ( swarm Aggro and Tribes, maybe against miracle)

    The Cards are very flexible and good against many matchups, but its a meta choice.

    What do you think about my choices?

    I'm still trying to see if stifle is a worthy replacement to dt, and if spell pierce should only be a 1-2 of.

    Hard to say without decklists. His opponent said it was mostly Grixis?

    after playing to a miserable TA result at my last locals I´m still working on 4c Delver and think it´s still a really viable choice. I just love Lightning Bolt in a Delver deck and the fancy SB cards that red offers you.

    I know that many people play stifle in this deck and it has his place in this archtype for sure but I personally just dont like the card from my canadian days, so I play it the way like during the DTT area.

    Instead of 4 Stifle I play 2 Gurmag Angler, 1 Abrupt Decay & 1 Sylvan Library which are all more powerful on its own.
    Currently I´m not 100 % sold on the 2 Anglers MD, I´m unsure if I should play 2 TNN instead because of Miracles, DnT & Blade decks in general. If I remove the 2 Angler I definitly have to cut the 1off Bayou and must add a 9th fetch because otherwise the mana could get to fragile but at the moment I enjoyed the Bayou alot. Will test it and then we see.

    Any other current experiences from turneys? Don´t let this thread die bUrg´ers
