    Palladia-Mors 95/96 Sealed Deck

I met a friend of mine Lord Košík for a game of 95/96 sealed. Not that it's the best format ever, but he had some cheap boosters from all over MKM and lgs, so we've tried this. So far we've kept the cards, and maybe we'll move further to constructed with these two piles.
I ripped open the Chronicles booster to find Palladia-Mors. RGW is my favourite color combination and 7/7 Dragon with three two abilities is pretty pretty. There was some black removal in 4th Edition booster, an Order in FEL and a pair of pumping Shades, too (one in ICE), so black was quite good, but w/e, Naya is the best.
No StP neither Reprisal/Exile was a major bummer. Also Homelands are weak.

For your viewing pleasure... I got no photos, coz we played in my flat and Lord Košík forgot his Huahey at home. And my potato phone cannot take pictures.

    1 Guerrilla Tactics
    1 Surge of Strength
    1 Shrink
    1 Stonehands
    1 Immolation
    1 Desert Twister
    1 Aladdin's Ring

    1 Yavimaya Ancients
    1 Aesthir Glider
    1 Kjeldoran Escort
    1 Juniper Order Advocate
    1 Mesa Falcon
    1 Balduvian Bears
    1 Scaled Wurm
    1 Palladia-Mors
    1 Llanowar Elves
    1 Icatian Javelineers
    1 Elvish Hunter
    1 Kei Takahashi
    1 Mountain Yeti
    1 Keepers of the Faith

    6 Plains
    7 Forest
    6 Mountain

Building a three-colors pile was a bit risky, especially without any fixation be it Fellwar Stone, HML craplands or (the most desired for) Glaciers.

Lord Košík build an RB pile with a buttload of removal (Terror, A2A, Dark Banishing, Torture, Incinerate, Fissure and Disintegrate) and lots of good small creatures + Ihsan's Shade. Bah. Felt more like a real constructed. Fortunately he had very little flying creatures, so I mostly thrown the dudes in front of him and his removal and then won with P-M... once. The other game was won by turn6 Mountain Yeti, pass, then Košík tapped out for some irrelevant thing, and on my next turn I went like Immolation, Surge of Strength throwing away Scaled Wurm, deal 13, from what he never recovered.

I lost 5-2. Lord Košík already took a prize (HML booster, yeah!) and went home. We'll meet in a pub later, and as a winner, he'll pay the first round.

No FoWs opened, neither Blood Moon nor Land Tax.

Oh that looks like a lot of fun! And I even spy a bear!
A few years ago I found a Fallen Empires display on eBay. Some Greek guy didn't seem to like that set and sold it for 1€/pack. I went to a friend and we played FE sealed and had such a blast. Obviously no value in form of reel moni. Well I got each a fresh High Tide and Hymn to Tourach... But it was easily worth the fun we had! And if you are like me you already will be satisfied by just looking at all those beautiful old cards when you grab your first starting hand.

Yeah, those old editions are really weak, but the art is beautiful. I know about a team of dudes in our lgs that buy french Homelands for drafts. Not exactly gold mine, too, but the art is amazing.
