Lejay, you are my hero <3
But than again, I root for THE Tin Fins man, cause our lord and savour Griselbrand will banish the evil called Miracles (which no one plays ^^ ).
Greetings,
Kathal
PS: I have to watch the VODs, since I have no time tomorrow :(
Disappointed Tim isn't Sneak Man. I was gearing up to hear some Taylor Swift during the game.
I feel I have to give some details to avoid people expect too much and face disappointment in the first match. I am playing 2012 Doomsday (was called "Last Level Doomsday" back then so can't really change it, duh !). I am certainly rusty with the archetype so I preferred playing a list in which I had full knowledge on why a slot is here or how to sideboard. Only a few slots would change anyway and it's kind of an historical decklist since it had the highest performances for doomsday. I didn't have time to both prepare well for the GP and build an update for DDFT, but I felt doomsday was clearly the deck people would appreciate seeing the most. If I face a very tough spot with the deck and fail please forgive my rustyness.
I was told deck's information would remain secret until first match, so I have to say I am a little disappointed I won't be able to do the "look like miracles trick in my very first game". Especially now that I see my first opponent plays 4 main deck cabal therapies. :P

Are all matches going to be uploaded to YouTube?
Yess, I get to watch Time Spiral resolve in Doomsday in a matter of seconds.
Pretty good for the first try. But some thing could be improved:
1) Music between rounds. I almost fell asleep during the waiting time for the last match.
2) Aspect ratio - IIRC, only the last match looked fine.
The aspect ratio is also something that's bugging me a lot. We're looking into finding a solution for the next stream.

The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
1. Discuss the unbanning ofLand TaxEarthcraft.
2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
4. Stifle Standstill.
5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

From our week#3 review (MATCH SPOILERS!):
As week 3 rounds up, a pattern has emerged: Tied for first place now are Jean-Mary “Lejay” Accart, Julian Knab, and Joe Lossett, all of our “J” names. The secret is out, we’ve found what it takes to be good at Legacy at last! Closely following and tied for 4th place are our previous top ranked players Brett Jayne and Romario Neto, joined by Tim Akpinar, and at the bottom, tied for 7th, we have Danny Batterman, Dayv “Sunyveil” Doberne, and Caleb Durward. Caleb showing us he CAN win a match, and against a bad matchup too, defeating two leyline of the void and a chalice on one with Tinfins in game two, while Joe got to finally play an interactive round of magic … sort of — finally making it to a Game 3 at least. Lejay showed us all how the Storm vs Nic Fit matchup is supposed to go, easily dispatching Danny even after he sided in 4 force of will for game 2, and in an unexpectedly grindy match, Julian showed us to keep our priorities in mind when dealing with hate, and the importance of having a gameplan and seeing it through.
Here's the Week#3 VODs (only the 1st one embedded since the forum software only allows for 1 video per post):
Week#3: Joe Lossett (Tezzerator) vs Brett Jayne (Sneak Show)

This week we had two cool guest commentators: Chris Walton of recent GP Columbus Top4 fame commentated on match1, while everybody's favorite Cube master MattiasNL commented on the 3rd and 4th match!
The Legacy Mediocre League returns next Friday, 1st July. Be sure to catch us live on our Twitch channel or one of the Video’s on Demand available on YouTube after Friday’s live-stream.

From our week#5 review (MATCH SPOILERS!):
With week #5 behind us, the league is now half over. This week we witnessed the birth of a new Gatewatch, as Danny’s Planeswalker Control deck imprisions the Eldrazi once again, driving home the last nail with the sacrifice of Jace (and now his watch has ended…). Brett, for a second week in a row now, plays in the Griselbrand mirror, which make his Show and Ttell’s a liability; having to switch over to the slower sneak and breach plan, loses to the slightly faster instant speed Reanimator deck from Caleb. Tim shows us the best way to win a game after punting, in his heavily favored Reanimator vs Nic Fit match, and Joe puts enough pressure on Lejay to force him to go for it, and he gets there, Doomsday taking down Tezzeret in a quick and agonizing finish.
This leaves us with Julian and Tim tied in first place, with Joe and Jean-Mary close behind, tied at 3-2. Caleb with a mediocre record of 2-2, both of our Veteran Explorer players at 2-3, and fighting for their lives, but still in contention, Romario and Brett tied at 1-3

Really enjoying this gentlemen. I've been trying to tune in but always catch up on the VODs. I prefer some commentary over others but I'm sure it's different for others. Just wanted to pass along what is largely a positive experience. Hope this keeps going for several seasons.
Thanks a lot, driver. Really happy to hear that!
With week#5 in the books, we're now about to enter stage of survival of the fittest, where one more loss will potentially put some of our players out of Top3 playoff-contention. Others are looking to increase their lead over the field, hopefully setting up for a couple of win-and-in matches over the next week.
May the odds be ever in their favor!
