Hello Sportsfans,
Prostate Cancer is very sadly something that will affect some of us in the future. As a majority male group, we should all be probably taking better care of our bodies and seeing the doctors more than once every 5 years.
In order to raise some awareness and money, the good folk of the Melbourne Legacy community would like to invite everyone to come to Next Level Games: Moonee Ponds, where we will be holding a charity event. Legacy is unfortunately a bit expensive, so this will be a non-sanctioned, 100% proxy tournament.
On the 12 March, come down to Next Level Games Moonee Ponds at 9 Buckley St, Moonee Ponds VIC 3039, jam some Legucci and let's raise some money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
Prizes are still being donated, but the first place player will walk away with a Judge Foil Rishadan Port and the player coming second will walk away with at least a Revised Dual Land.
Entry will be $30, with $20 from each entrant going to the PCFA.
Hope to see as many of you there as possible!
Steven

YEAH THE BOYS!
For anyone in Melbourne who hasn't turned up to one of these Legacy events, defintely do so. Great bunch of people, and awesome environment.
The token Kiwi on The Salt Mine, an Australian podcast about Legacy.
Had a great turn out, ended up with 66 players and raised over $1500 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
Top 8 was:
3x DnT (bleugh)
1x Eldrazi
1x Miracles
1x Opposition Merfolk
1x Team America Control
1x 4c Loam.
The finals ended up being the DnT Mirror which is about as abysmal to watch as you can all imagine. Still, not a bad day all said despite being 30 degrees and sunny.
Will post full meta-game breakdown asap.
