    Round Earth Society (RES)

    Inspired by the conspiracy theorist discussion I took a crack at this card. I posted two general ideas in there but after thinking it through more I think this list might be the better direction.

    The core of the deck is Conspiracy Theorist + Artificer's Intuition. This lets you get a bunch of baubles as the floor. If you find torpor orb too, you can dump 4 dreadnaughts onto the field. You can search up grindstone or one of the toolbox options.

    4 Artificer's Intuition
    4 Conspiracy Theorist
    2 Riddlesmith
    2 Ethersworn Canonist
    4 Phyrexian Dreadnought
    4 Painter's Servant
    2 Grindstone
    3 Red Elemental Blast
    2 Mishra's Bauble
    4 Torpor Orb
    1 Illusionary Mask
    2 Stifle
    2 Mother of Runes
    1 Engineered Explosives
    1 Grafdigger's Cage
    1 Hope of Ghirapur

    1 Mox Opal
    4 ancient tomb
    2 Tundra
    2 Volcanic Island
    1 Plateau
    3 Scalding Tarn
    4 Flooded Strand
    1 Island
    1 Mountain
    1 Plains
    1 Great Furnace

    SB
    1 Pithing Needle
    3 surgical extraction
    1 Red Elemental Blast
    4 Swords to Plowshares
    1 Forked Bolt
    3 Meddling Mage
    2 Rip Apart

    Imho, the deck could work better if we cut some combo and focus on just one.
    Right now tbh, i would not play dreadnought (despite loving it), it's way to easy to handle for most decks.

    // 60 Maindeck
    // 7 Artifact
    1 Grindstone
    1 Pithing Needle
    3 Arcum's Astrolabe
    1 Engineered Explosives
    1 Pyrite Spellbomb

    // 8 Creature
    3 Painter's Servant
    2 Snapcaster Mage
    3 Goblin Welder

    // 3 Enchantment
    2 Artificer's Intuition
    1 Sylvan Library

    // 17 Instant
    4 Brainstorm
    3 Pyroblast
    4 Force of Will
    4 Lightning Bolt
    2 Spell Pierce

    // 18 Land
    1 Academy Ruins
    2 Volcanic Island
    4 Scalding Tarn
    1 Snow-Covered Mountain
    3 Snow-Covered Island
    2 Tropical Island
    4 Misty Rainforest
    1 Snow-Covered Forest

    // 3 Planeswalker
    3 Oko, Thief of Crowns

    // 4 Sorcery
    4 Ponder

    // 15 Sideboard
    // 4 Artifact
    SB: 1 Aether Spellbomb
    SB: 1 Grafdigger's Cage
    SB: 1 Welding Jar
    SB: 1 Relic of Progenitus

    // 4 Creature
    SB: 3 Izzet Staticaster
    SB: 1 Grim Lavamancer

    // 7 Instant
    SB: 2 Flusterstorm
    SB: 1 Abrade
    SB: 2 Return to Nature
    SB: 2 Veil of Summer

    This was my last list, featuring 2 banned cards (astrolabe was nuts with intu)
    Welder seems quite amazing, we could consider to use intu+theorist to discard fat artifacts aswell (Wurmcoil?) and then reanimate them
    I think we should have clear in mind play patterns to justify the cospiracy dude
    Dack fayden could be very good here

    Ill try to list something later

    They banned Astrolabe, and with it any reason to play Dreadnought with Welder stuffs unfortunately. One rule that should be observed in legacy is that when you go for a do-nothing artifact that gets worse in multiples [looking at Torpor Orb], is that you put 1x in SB and start adding Karn to maindeck. The first list would just die to Surgical on Dreadnought by flooding out on enablers with nothing to enable.

    Particularly in the context of Welder, Conspiracy Theorist is far worse than Magmatic Chaneller. Don't lose your low stats value engine to combat if you don't have to.

    We got a sweet new card in containment construct! https://mythicspoiler.com/neo/cards/...tconstruct.jpg

    Also don't think I posted the video of Julian streaming this.

    On Twitter a kill with just artificers intuition, the construct, and blue mana was posted.

    Re: Round Earth Society (RES)

    Draft deck:

    //Lands: 16
    2 Urza's Saga
    4 Ancient Tomb
    4 Seat of the Synod
    6 Island

    //Creatures: 9
    4 Containment Construct
    4 Emry, Lurker of the Loch
    1 Walking Ballista

    //Enchantments: 4
    4 Artificer's Intuition

    //Spells: 4
    4 Echo of Eons

    //Artifacts: 19
    4 Lotus Petal
    4 Lion's Eye Diamond
    4 Mox Opal
    3 Mishra's Bauble
    3 Defense Grid
    1 Elixir of Immortality

    //Planeswalkers: 8
    4 Narset, Parter of Veils
    4 Karn, the Great Creator

    //Sideboard: 15
    1 Mycosynth Lattice
    1 Ensnaring Bridge
    1 Liquimetal Coating
    1 Tormod's Crypt
    1 Pithing Needle
    1 Aether Spellbomb
    1 Hope of Ghirapur
    1 Elixir of Immortality
    1 Walking Ballista
    4 Force of Will
    2 Force of Negation

    Maybe even -4 Karn +4 Chalice

    Edit: CC is very strong with Lion's Eye Diamond because it lets you use LED mana to pay for any spell.
    CC also means Gamble doesn't miss (even if you discard the card, you can cast it).
    Maybe this would work even better in a UR Echo Storm shell. Faithless Looting fits as well. By Echo Storm I mean then general shell of
    4 Lotus Petal
    4 Lion's Eye Diamond
    4 Mox Opal
    4 Gamble
    4 Brainstorm
    4 Echo of Eons (or 3 Echo + 4 Burning Wish + 4th Echo in SB)

    Interesting...there's a lot going on I'd need to see it in action but looks sweet.

    If you want to go all in breakthrough could be fun. Conspiracy theorist also gives you redundancy

    Re: Round Earth Society (RES)

    True, you could play all 8 effects. I'll focus on that here and move the other idea (without Conspiracy Theorist) to the other thread.

    Nice! It's pretty close to the list you posted before.
