Jarvis Bears! (Quandrix Apprentice/Flusterstorm/Ayula's Influence/Jarvis Yu)

So, the idea is to use quandrix apprentice and life from the loam to get tons of lands which can either be used to ramp with exploration or turned into bears with ayula's influence. The big "combo" in the deck is quandrix apprentice plus flusterstorm, but apprentice also eeks out value over a couple of turns quite nicely just with normal good spells. The rest of the deck is toolbox focused with GSZ as you need to able to function/win even without either engine online, but you also need to be able to scale up into ramp options/field when you do get your engine online.

Jarvis' video with his version of the deck:

My list below, the big difference being I think NO is good in here. I'm trying to figure out what is the best green critter vs URg delver which could fit into this...novablast Wurm, Dragonlord dromoka, archon of valors reach, hornet Queen, or elder gargaroth? Assuming this version includes 3-4 gsz and 2-3 NO to find it.

    1 Archon of Valor's Reach
    3 Ayula's Influence
    1 Ayula, Queen Among Bears
    4 Brainstorm
    1 Collector Ouphe
    1 Dryad Arbor
    3 Exploration
    2 Field of the Dead
    1 Flooded Strand
    4 Flusterstorm
    1 Forest
    3 Green Sun's Zenith
    1 Island
    1 Karakas
    1 Knight of the Reliquary
    1 Life from the Loam
    4 Misty Rainforest
    2 Natural Order
    1 Noble Hierarch
    1 dragonlord dromoka
    1 Plains
    3 Quandrix Apprentice
    2 Savannah
    1 Scavenging Ooze
    1 Snow-Covered Forest
    4 Swords to Plowshares
    3 Tropical Island
    1 Tundra
2 Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath
    2 Waterlogged Grove
    4 Windswept Heath

    SB
    2 Carpet of Flowers
    1 Force of Negation
    4 Force of Will
    1 Knight of Autumn
    2 Meddling Mage
    1 primeval titan
    2 Surgical Extraction
    2 Veil of Summer

I think the concept is interesting. But if you really want to abuse Ayula, one copy is most likely not enoug, as you either don't find or it gets killed/countered.

I also wonder what white brings to the table, aside from KotR. A black splash would give access to Raven's Crime, which should be pretty good with both Loam and Quandrix.

As for bear token generation, Sylvan Library + Words of Wilding would also work, although it might be worse than the Loam combo.

I agree. What does white add?

Red would add Punishing Fire (triggers Quandrix) and Valakut Exploration (triggers game win). Maybe even the old Loam classic Seismic Assault (RRR and GGG might be possible in the same deck with 4 Grove), though Punishing Fire does the same thing.

For NO, the best green creature against RUG Delver is probably Progenitus. They have 0 ways to interact with it aside from racing in the air. 2nd best is probably Archon of Valor's Reach on instant, which also gives them about 0 ways to interact with it, races slower, but plays better defense (blocking flyers, preventing Bolt race, and stopping counters).

Yeah we discussed in the video black over white for pengineer/push and raven's crime is decent too, or red for seismic assault like FTW just suggested too. White gives swords though which is still completely broken...answers Uro, delver, and sprite dragon. Nothing main deckable in R or B does this. KotR and sb MM are strong too of course. Tbh I'd like a straight UG version to be viable that just tries to ramp over delver decks.

The complete lack of Tireless Tracker in the 75 seems odd. If your gameplan is to play a decent amount of lands and having GSZ, it should be in somewhere.

If you're looking for a big green game-ending creature, you should look at Primeval Titan.
