    Yuan-Ti Malison Slow Dungeon Crawl Enjoyment Deck

    So, I wanted to play a fair dungeon themed deck to actually use the dungeons and it looks like Yuan-Ti is the best option. The other dungeon things feel meh. The idea is to play a lot of blockers and then Yuan-Ti can attack on its own unblocked. Suggestions welcome.

    Instead of UG colors, what about Bant?

    Elvish Mystic -> Noble Hierarch (better mana dork & exalted for Yuan)
    Ulvenwald Tracker -> Prismatic Ending (better removal)
    Fumble/Control Magic -> Swords to Plowshares

    Ideally if you can make room maindeck, play a few copies of the white one: Nadaar, Selfless Paladin. Venture on ETB is useful (you can also bounce/protect with Karakas and then replay for ETB trigger). Then later the lord effect buffs your Hierarchs and Coatls into actual clocks.

    Example:

    //Lands: 20
    4 Prismatic Vista
    4 Misty Rainforest
    1 Flooded Strand
    2 Tropical Island
    1 Tundra
    3 Snow-Covered Island
    3 Snow-Covered Forest
    1 Snow-Covered Plains
    1 Karakas

    //Creatures: 16
    4 Noble Hierarch
    4 Yuan-Ti Malison
    3 Ice-Fang Coatl
    3 Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath
    2 Nadaar, Selfless Paladin

    //Planeswalker: 1
    1 Jace, the Mind Sculptor

    //Spells: 21
    4 Force of Will
    4 Brainstorm
    4 Ponder
    4 Swords to Plowshares
    3 Prismatic Ending
    2 Force of Negation

    //Artifacts: 1
    1 Umezawa's Jitte

    //Enchantment: 1
    1 Sylvan Library

    //Sideboard: 15
    3 Endurance
    1 Surgical Extraction
    1 You Find a Cursed Idol
    1 Collector Ouphe
    1 Force of Vigor
    1 Flusterstorm
    1 Hydroblast
    2 Veil of Summer
    1 Deafening Silence
    1 Narset, Parter of Veils

    Nadaar is a good shout! I like the list.

    I donated my original list to itsJulian...didn't go 0-5! Yuan-Ti Malison too strong.

    I'm not sure how well it fits into your goal, but you could also try a 'bogles' approach with the Yuan-Ti and Fly.

    Interesting. After watching that, what it seemed to lack was removal for the opponent's board and enough pressure to finish games.

    The white splash for StP, Prismatic and Nadaar should help all of those weaknesses. Hierarch beats Mystic too (trading with Ragavan is very minor, like Julian said, and you can just kill it with white cards).

    B2B maindeck seems like a liability too. Seems better SB.

    Yeah, might try out the white version soon!

    If you do splash white, you could try out 1-of Rafiq of the Many. Yuan deals 6 damage unblockable + 2 dungeon triggers.
