Play Dreadnought, target it with March, grab another copy, sac one, keep one.
If you're willing to sacrifice two cards for thecost, it could be done as early as T2.
Edit: That said, the card seems terrible. High costs, requiring a target AND fizzling if the target is removed.
Much better than anything I could come up with, but dumping 3 cards into something that dies to ending or meltdown or daze seems rough.
I'm just assuming that it's a typo and you don't have to invest cmc+2 mana.
It wouldn't be the first time
Fixing GSZ so that it's almost unplayable, fucking sick I'll take 10 copies
The creature ETB tapped and you have to already control a copy of it to cast it, so your early game plays with this are incredibly draw-dependent and you can't search for a 1-of game ender like Craterhoof or whatever else. Hmmmm
Any cool interactions for this? Or are you just going to tap some card draw Ninjas for value?
Edit: Cold-Eyed Selkie works, I guess.
Edit 2: If you copy Mist-Syndicate Naga, would it create mech tokens or Naga tokens?![]()
Just play it with Spy Kit and 0 cc creatures.![]()
This new utility land seems very powerful in curses.
Roadside Reliquary
Land
{T}: Add {C}.
{2}, {T}, Sacrifice Roadside Reliquary: Draw a card if you control an artifact. Draw a card if you control an enchantment.
“Travelers who leave an offering many pass freely through the forest kami’s domain.”
We run 12-16 of each card type, depending on how you count saga and karn. Compared to something like Sea-Gate Wreckage it is much more efficient and easier to enable, even if it is not repeatable.
Yeah, that seems pretty nutty when there are lots of cards that are balanced by discard like Breakthrough and Gamble. There are probably random discard piles with Burning Inquiry/Control of the Court/Goblin Lore that can abuse it too.
This seems like it breaks echo of eons decks (of blue or red varieties).
Letting you cast your whole hand off of LED, even after drawing your new hand, seems insane. You can’t respond to LED so it is mostly immune to creature removal. At least it isn’t true madness so it is vulnerable to graveyard hate. It is a trigger not a replacement also, so it does expose the Echo of eons to surgical.
There are probably lots of ways to abuse this. Even something like Faithless Looting becomes an insane value engine with it. Mox Diamond is also a cute interaction if you still have a land drop available after it hits play.
Edit:
Or Trade Routes. Or Seismic Assault/Molten Vortex. Plenty of ways to extract value from this.
Artificer's Intuition should also be able to do some dumb shit, especially when grabbing additional LED copies.
Finally, this time LED will be banned...
It's still a creature so dies_to_removal.maymay but it's still a very powerful effect.
If you have an LED already in play before you resolve it, you still get the effect if your opponent nukes it in response.
This seems like another Underworld Breach kind of thing where they try to see how far they can push things, even though these kind of things never lead to anything other than degenerate combos.
Looking up how much an LED costs nowadays I would be ok with it going now.
I'll miss it in Ichorid but whatever.
Btw, the blue march is pretty tame:
Might have some uses with Dreadnoughts but otherwise, meh which is actually nice for a change.
