No matter what you're talking about a boardstate with 2 blue sources tapping down and 5 artifacts in play to live the dream. That feels like a board that could have been casting Reverse Engineer since 2017.
Doesn't make much sense that people would never touch Artifact'y Ancestral, but would be all over Artifact'y Dig. It does make sense however that Echo/LED is in a league above either of these however.
They're still too different to compare. If we forget about whatever weird board state we have that might affect or replace draws, best case scenario for one spell is "UU for the first 3 cards on top of your deck, at Sorcery speed" and the other is "UU for your choice of 2 artifacts out of 7 cards on top of your deck, at Instant speed". They're just different spells, that's all
Nani!?

They needed some equipment that put counters on creatures whenever they were dealt combat damage, and then destroy all those creatures when the equipment was unequipped.
Totally useless in game play, but you can live out your all your Kenshin story lines :P
Not sure if it can find a home anywhere (Hammer decks would probably the best fit since they can skip the equipment cost), but building your own Platinum Angel at a lower cost sounds interesting, at the very least.

This doesn't seem too shabby, honestly.
Discover the Impossible
Seems like a candidate for a bad fork-bomb combo deck.Look at the top five cards of your library. Exile one of them face down and put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. You may cast the exiled card without paying its mana cost if it’s an instant spell with mana value 2 or less. If you don’t, put that card into your hand.
4 Discover the Impossible
2 Brain Freeze
4 Fork
4 Twincast
4 Reverberate
4 Split Decision
4 Increasing Vengeance
Yeah except this WOTC bozo on Twitter saying the opposite
Q: I have a follow up question. As the Reality Chip has Equipment typing, does that mean it can be equipped for 0 by Puresteel Paladin since Puresteel grants an alternative cost? Meanwhile, Bruenor Battlehammer's ability would not work (as it doesn't have an equip cost)?
A: You have interpreted both of those results correctly, although to be very technical Puresteel Paladin grants a separate equip ability, not an alternative cost. #WotCstaff
So I can get things forcing attachment like Sigarda's Aid & Auriok Windwalker skips all the Reconfigure stuff and only sees "while attached, this isn't a creature"
But something With Reconfigure & Equip at the same time, due to Puresteel Paladin or whatever, I agree with you rufus, 301.5c is unambiguous.
But someone tell WOTC
Yup, this is what TsumiBand and I were complaining about.
Yes, Sigarda's Aid works with reconfigure! Any effect that attaches a creature with reconfigure to another creature will cause it it to stop being a creature until it becomes unattached. This isn't technically a static ability, just part of the rules for reconfigure. #WotCstaff
Technically not a static ability, but oh boy we're just going to make it function as a de facto one!
So you're right, current reading of the rules... but lets see what the rules say later this month
Yeah, keywords sometimes stuff so much shit into one word that its execution belies its intention. I guarantee that most Magic players have no idea how Madness interacts with a card like Stifle (probably anyone actually reading this does, but no player would ever derive it from the keyword and reminder text).
This smells like it might have some uses.
Elves?
Not sure what the best target is, but instant speed dryad arbor seems pretty funny.
Less than rather than less than or equal probably makes it unplayable, since it means it will cost 3 mana most of the time.
